Knots Landing

I am so happy that maxi dresses are back on the docket for spring this year. And perhaps what makes me even happier, is the new trend of tying the bottom of your maxi in a knot. It is the perfect (and oh-so-simple) way to change-up an old favorite, making it feel fresh and new for the season!

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!  Ours was filled with lots of projects and yard work, but it felt great to be extra productive and get things done around the house.  And of course (despite the copious amount of manual labor), it went by way too fast, as weekends tend to do.  Good thing there is a nice, long holiday weekend ahead of us!

Happy Monday!

  1. Super cute! You always look gorgeous. I always tie my maxis, mostly because I’m so short, but I even blogged about it being a trend once. haha! I think I was just trying to make it one. Now it is! Whoop! You should link up to my blog today! We’ve got a spring summer style link up!

    1. Thank you so much Gentri! I stopped by your blog earlier and linked up! Thank you so much for letting me know. And I probably should have mentioned it in my blog, but I am not super tall either (when I take my heels off!), and maxi dress always seem to swallow up, so tying them in a knot definitely makes them more managable to wear for us shorter gals! Oh, and I LOVED your Lulu’s dress on your post today! SO CUTE!
