I’m having a hard time believing that it’s already August. And I can’t help but find myself starting to think about Fall, and purchasing transitional and Fall specific pieces.

Though the seasons and trends come and go, long sleeve dresses have been at the top of my list for quite a while now. And this dress is a definite favorite. Truth be told, I am a creature of habit when it comes to denim. AG and 7 for All Mankind are by far away and my favorite brands and have been for several years. I’m also a fan of Paige, Joe’s, and Citizens. But I don’t necessarily love the high price tag of these designer brands. So every now and again, I’ll test out denim brands based on trend.
And that’s what led me to these jeans. I saw one of my favorite bloggers, Emily, from The Sweetest Thing, wearing this specific pair and I thought they were so cute (she tends to wear the same brands of denim that I do), that I decided to give them a try. And I am SO glad that I did! Not only are they cute, comfy, and fit true to size, but the best part? They are on sale for less than $90! I’ve said it once, and I’ll say it again, shift coats are awesome. And this gorgeous black and white number is at the top of my list of all-time favorite things in my closet. Not only is it under $40, but the quality is fantastic and the fabric and print is so pretty, people literally stop me on the street to ask me where they can buy it.
