I know I’ve blogged about these camis from Express before. But they are truly the best and worth mentioning over and over. Not only do they look great with jeans, slacks, jackets, and skirts, but they are reversible, so you are essentially getting 2 shirts for the price of one. And in my opinion, there is no better time than a change in season to stock up on basics. Mad for Plaid

I’ve found that it doesn’t really matter the season, in my book, plaid always works. And right now I am really loving this cute plaid tunic from Chicwish. Since I’m short, I tied a little knot in it to give help give me some shape (a great trick for voluminous tops if you’re petite, like me!). And when the temps drop (I can’t believe I’m even thinking about that already), I can’t wait to pair it back to leggings, boots, and a cute jacket.

Cold Shoulder

It felt like spring here in the SLC this weekend, so I used it as an opportunity to take my pretty new sweater out for a spin. And I have to say, it really is the perfect transitional piece. Not only are the colors and the off-the-shoulder styling perfect for spring, but the fabric is super warm and cozy, which makes it appropriate to wear now. This is definitely a piece that will be getting a lot of use in my wardrobe as we transition from winter to spring.

Do you guys watch Project Runway? It is one of my FAVORITE shows. And in this past episode, Edmond (one of my faves!) made a gorgeous pant suit complete with a cloud inspired vest. It doesn’t matter the season, or what’s on trend for the year. Black and white is always one of my very favorite combinations. Especially when paired with a bright lip for a little pop of color. Not only is it a timeless combo, but a look everyone can wear.

I love this time of year when I can transition my summer dresses into the Fall season. And even more than that, I love that I don’t have to put my white items away after Labor Day! Because as perfect as this white lace dress was to wear during the summer months, I actually prefer it dressed up with Fall ready accessories. And if you didn’t buy this FANTASTIC faux leather jacket last year (it is my absolute FAVORITE), it’s not too late, because Nordstrom brought it back again this season. It really is just that good (and it’s under $100)!

Believe it or not, sometimes I have no idea what to wear. Honestly, I think we all have those days where we just stand in our closets completely blank, not really knowing where to start. So when I find myself having one of those moments, I’ve found that sometimes the best solution is to go back to basics and go with what I “know”. For me, that is a simple top (usually a tank), a favorite pair of jeans, and a pair of pumps. It’s an outfit I always feel good in and it’s typically appropriate for any occasion. All About Those Shoes

I have been wanting these shoes for a long time, but was a little unsure about the price tag. So after adding them to my Nordie’s shopping bag about 50 times over the last couple of months, I finally decided to go for it. And you know what? I am SO glad that I did. Not only are they super comfortable but they go with WAY more than I thought they would.

In fact, I wore them while I was in Seattle this week for meetings and literally had co-workers and people on the street stopping me to ask where they were from! Plus, since they are a perfect mix between a bootie and shoe, they are a great transitional piece for Fall!
