When the temp drops, I love bundling up in layers. And I find that mixing a great long sleeve top, furry vest, and cute jacket is always a cute and cozy winning combo. This time of year, fashion pieces that also serve a purpose, are an imperative part of any wardrobe if you want to stay warm and look good doing it!

I have to admit, I am so used to wearing my skinny jeans, that it feels a little funny to wear a different silhouette of denim. I love to layer, but I also love a good twofer. And this sweater from Shein couldn’t be more perfect. Not only is it just the right shade of heather gray, but the pretty lace detailing makes it an easy piece to dress up or dress down. And the length is great too. It’s not quite tunic length, but it’s definitely long enough to wear with your skinniest of jeans.

Ok, so this dress MIGHT look a little familiar. I have it in white, and also in a gorgeous purple color. And since the Free People price tag is a little steep to own this piece in too many colors, I was thrilled to stumble on this dupe from SheIn for a fraction of the price. In my opinion, the quality is almost as nice, the fit is pretty much identical, and at under $30, this is a purchase that is pretty much guilt free. Plus, how gorgeous is this rust color? So perfect for Fall!

Date Night Casual

And even though my top is just a plain black shirt, the cut out shoulders give it a slightly edgy feel, while allowing me to still feel super comfy. Two of my favorite colors to mix together are black and tan. Wearing all black can tend to sku a little dressy, so adding in a great tan or cognac boot, or accessory, is a great way to make the ensemble a little more casual.

I LOVE a good romper, but it took me a little longer to get hop on the jumpsuit bandwagon. But when I found this great navy version recently, I was sold! So while jumpsuits might seem a little intimidating at first, I definitely recommend at least trying one on. Not only are they chic, but they are amazingly comfy and easy to wear and style. In fact, I can’t wait to wear this one with a leather jacket and pumps when the temps cool down a bit.
