Plum is always a color I’m drawn to during the Fall months. And one of my favorite ways to wear it, is mixed with shades of pink. And I’m talking all shades of pink-from blush to hot pink. Plus, plum always looks great with a bold berry stained lip, which is perfectly on trend (and fun!) for the upcoming season.

So it was a no brainer to pair it back to my favorite joggers and leopard heels, creating a super easy look that is perfect for a date, or a girl’s night on the town!

In years past, I haven’t typically had a lot of blue in my closet. But this season, it seems to be a color that I am really gravitating towards. Not only does it work great with a cardi or denim jacket, but now that the weather is warming up, I am loving how it looks paired with a denim vest.

Romper Time

I LOVE rompers! So I am really glad that they are back in a big way this season. And even though the temps have been a little chilly in the SLC, I have still been able to wear some of my favorites by pairing them with denim jackets and cozy cardigans (like in today’s post). With all the crazy weather we’ve been having here in the SLC this Spring, layering has definitely been a must!

Banana Republic has always been a staple among my favorite places to shop. But lately, I have found myself shopping there even more than usual. And not just for clothing, but for accessories and shoes as well. So when they recently reached out to see if I wanted to do a collaboration and have one of their in-house stylists send me a couple of items to style on my blog, I immediately obliged. And I have to say, the stylist couldn’t have picked two more perfect items for me. I have already gotten so much wear out of this lightweight merino sweater (I am also in LOVE with the color). I was recently asked by StyleWatch and JCPenney to participate in a blogger challenge. And I happily obliged! I was given a $50 gift card and tasked with putting together a whole outfit, or selecting a statement piece to build an outfit around. And let me tell you, it was really fun deciding which option to choose.

It had been a little while since I had been into a JCPenney, and it was a really positive experience to get to reacquaint myself with the store. But more than anything, I was pleasantly surprised to find a cute brand called Belle + Sky (TM). I ended up trying on armfuls of adorable things (I had to make 2 trips to the fitting room!), but ultimately settled on this hot pink moto jacket. It was originally $100, but was on sale for 40% off, and I found a coupon online which placed it right within my budget! So that was a huge score. I also ended up picking up a couple of other cute dresses (on my own dime!) that I ‘ve linked below!

American Eagle Feature

I was beyond thrilled when American Eagle contacted me a few weeks ago and asked me to be a part of their Bloggers Do It Better series (ok, I was more than beyond thrilled). I mean seriously, to have the opportunity to work with one of my absolute favorite retailers on a collaboration is literally a dream come true. Somebody pinch me please!! And so today, I am incredibly excited to share with you what we have been working on!

The challenge that was given to my by AE was to style their Contrast Strap Bootie (in leopard) three different ways. And while we revealing all three looks today (head on over to AE’s blog to check out my feature), I will release the specific details about each outfit one post at a time! And so, without further adieu, I leave you with my new favorite booties, styled not just one, but three different ways!
