Fall in Utah is my favorite. Not only is it absolutely gorgeous, but it seems to last forever and the weather is unbelievably amazing. I seriously can’t imagine a better place to be for the months of September and October. Fire In the Sky

Happy Friday everyone! Remember how I said earlier in the week that I lost all of the outfit photos I had taken while we were on vacation? Well thanks to my hubby, I was able to salvage the photos from one outfit. And while I am still sad about the others, one, is certainly better than none! So with that said, I have to tell you guys that I am obsessed with this JCrew top. I had been eyeing it for quite some time and immediately snatched it up when it went on sale. The cute embroidered print reminds me of a pink and white Easter dress that I had when I was a little girl, and you all know how much I LOVE neon yellow-a little nostalgia and my favorite pop of color all rolled into one! Plus, it’s a great statement top that can be easily dressed up or down. And when the heat index is high, in my closet, easy, breezy, fun tops like these rule!

Denim on Denim

I’m always a little hesitant to wear two denim pieces together. It probably stems from growing up in Montana and not wanting to be caught in the dreaded “Canadian Tuxedo” (or as I am sure they call it, the “Montana Tuxedo”). But I have found that if your two denims differ enough, then wearing denim on denim is perfectly acceptable, and even quite stylish given the current trend! So take it from me and don’t be afraid to rock your denim pieces together-just make sure you have some contrast!

I travel a lot both personally and professionally, so am always on the hunt for comfy layering pieces to keep me cozy to and fro. So when ToAdorn (one of my very favorite daily deal sites) gifted me this darling cardigan from Tara Lynn’s Boutique, I knew it was going to be a staple piece in my wardrobe. And it most definitely is. It’s just one of those easy pieces that can be tossed on over just about anything, can be easily tucked into your purse or carry on for travel, and my very favorite part (besides the stripes, obviously)? Rad Plaid

I am a pretty tried and true JCrew and Gap girl when it comes to my beloved button downs. And I rarely (if ever) venture outside of this cozy comfort zone. However, since I didn’t have any luck with either store on my hunt for a light gray plaid shirt this spring, I was forced to venture out. And I have to say, I am glad that I did because I am absolutely LOVING the fit and style of this Ralph Lauren Denim and Supply top. It is slightly longer in the back, the fabric is light and airy, and the fit is fantastic. In fact, it’s been such a popular shirt at Macy’s, it’s been selected as a customer favorite. And you know what that means? More prints and patterns to come! I know I’ll be on the lookout to add some additional versions of this fantastic shirt to my closet!
