You know what’s kind of a weird feeling? When you’re old enough to see certain fashion trends cycle back through your life a second time around. And right now, with so many great ’90’s trends prevalent for the summer months, that’s exactly what’s happening. And it’s leaving me feeling both a little nostalgic, and a little old. lol But when I was in high school, denim short overalls and denim overall dresses were my favorite. So I knew it was a trend I would definitely be revisiting this summer. And I’d love to know, how are you guys feeling about the ’90’s trends in the market right now?

Plaid Coat

I love a good plaid coat. Especially one that doesn’t break the bank, like this cozy black and white one (only $25!). Plus, the longer length makes it super cozy to throw on for those cold, snowy days. In fact, it’s kind of like wearing a stylish blanket!

I have to be honest, I am always pretty sad when Christmas comes and goes. But I am looking forward to a shortened work week and ringing in 2017. Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas celebration with your families and loved ones.

Green for Christmas

I love red and sparkles so much, sometimes I forget about wearing green during the holidays. So when I saw this choker top at Express, I knew it would be perfect back to my favorite black faux fur vest and studded booties. And not only does this look work perfectly for the holidays, it will work well beyond the month of December too.

I’m pretty sure the best part about Fall fashion is layers. I love throwing on a cute sweater, my favorite surplus jacket, and a cozy scarf. And these booties? They are hands down my favorite, and they come in a bunch of colors. Definitely worth every penny.

I know I’ve blogged about these camis from Express before. But they are truly the best and worth mentioning over and over. Not only do they look great with jeans, slacks, jackets, and skirts, but they are reversible, so you are essentially getting 2 shirts for the price of one. And in my opinion, there is no better time than a change in season to stock up on basics. So if you are in the market for a great cami (that comes in tons of prints and solids), then this is the one!

Also, don’t put those white jeans away now that Labor Day has come and gone. They are perfectly acceptable all year long!

Jeffrey Campbell Dupes

I love plaid all year round, but every year when September hits, it’s game on. But you know what I’m the most excited to share with you guys today? These booties! They are absolute perfect dupes for my favorite Jeffrey Campbell version, but are only $40! I seriously couldn’t believe it when I saw them. And they’re great quality and super comfy too. A definite must-have for your Fall wardrobe this season. But they do run a little small, so I would recommend sizing up a 1/2 size.

Labor Day

This time of the year makes me feel so conflicted inside. Part of me is so ready for pumpkin everything, blanket scarves, booties, and cozy layers. But the other half hates to see the days get shorter, the temps get cooler, and to have to put away all of my favorite summer dresses and sandals. So this week, I am embracing the last few days of summer and wearing all summer everything. Like this dress. Not only is it super cute, but seriously, how perfect is it for Labor Day weekend?

Did you guys know that this dress can be worn multiple ways? It can be worn strapless, off-the-shoulder (see my #sundaynightstyle post over on Insta!), and of course, one shoulder, like I’ve styled it in this post. How cool is that?

One of my favorite summer outfits is a casual long sleeve shirt paired with a pair of destroyed denim shorts. But since it’s such a basic look, it’s not one I feature on the blog very often.
