I typically tend to gravitate towards red during the holiday season. But another great color option (that is often forgotten in place of its brighter counterpart this time of year), is burgundy. I waited for so long for this sweater to go on sale at Nordstrom. And when it finally did on Black Friday, I pounced. And I am SO glad I did. Not only do I love the color, but I love the tunic length style because I can wear it with jeans and leggings. Plus, its really comfy and comes in a ton of colors. It will definitely be a go-to piece in my wardrobe this winter.

I have to say, even though I grew up in Montana, and now live in Utah (making me a seasoned winter veteran), I am having a hard time getting used to the cold this year. So thank goodness for hooded parkas with faux-fur trim, and cozy sweaters (this one is super soft and on major sale) to keep me warm!
