I wear my army green surplus jackets all the time. So when I happened to stumble on my favorite silhouette in a pale pink color, I was 100% sold. I love putting a new spin on an old classic, because not only is it comfortable, but it still feels fresh and new at the same time.

Budget Denim

Truth be told, I am a creature of habit when it comes to denim. AG and 7 for All Mankind are by far away and my favorite brands and have been for several years. I’m also a fan of Paige, Joe’s, and Citizens. But I don’t necessarily love the high price tag of these designer brands. So every now and again, I’ll test out denim brands based on trend.

And that’s what led me to these jeans. I saw one of my favorite bloggers, Emily, from The Sweetest Thing, wearing this specific pair and I thought they were so cute (she tends to wear the same brands of denim that I do), that I decided to give them a try. And I am SO glad that I did! Not only are they cute, comfy, and fit true to size, but the best part? They are on sale for less than $90! French Kande

I am a sentimental gal and love special pieces of jewelry that carry some sort of meaning. So when I discovered a company called French Kande, whose jewelry is both beautiful and meaningful, I knew that I wanted to share their unique pieces with all of you.

Tunic

Confession: I ordered this “top” thinking that it was a dress. But when it arrived, it was much too short, and the slit was way too high (yikes!) for me to wear it as a dress, let alone in public. Ha! But I loved the print and fabric so much (it is a nice, sturdy scuba material), that I stewed over how to wear it for a while, not wanting to return it. And I finally decided that it could indeed be worn be worn as a top. In the end, while I still wish it was a dress, I am loving how it looks with leggings, and can’t wait to wear it again when the temperature drops with a cute blazer or leather jacket.
