It was pretty cold when I was up in Montana earlier this week. But my mom and I still ventured up to Glacier National Park to have lunch at the lodge, take a little drive, and just drink in the glorious sights and crisp Fall air. And naturally, I gravitated towards my favorite Fall uniform for our adventure: an oversized cardi, comfy tunic tee, skinny jeans, booties, and a floppy hat. I originally purchased this Free People dress last summer in pink and wore it for my birthday celebration in Sonoma. And I loved it so much and got so much wear out of it, that when they brought it back this season, I bought it in this pretty minty/sage color. And this summer, it is once again one of my favorite things in my closet. It’s also on sale right now, and comes in several other colors. So if you have been thinking about getting this dress, I would highly recommend it! You’ll get so much wear out of it, I promise it will be worth every penny! PLUS it has pockets this year too!
Although be warned. It seems to be running a little shorter this year than last year, so I would recommend sizing up for length.

I’m always on the hunt for good basic tanks during the summer months. But they are surprisingly hard to find. I mean really, is it too much to ask for a solid tank that can be dressed up or dressed down, worn with shorts, skirts, and denim, doesn’t shrink when you wash it, and at a great price point? Apparently so! So when I stumbled on this cute Free People tank, I knew I had to give it a try. And I’m glad I did, because I’m loving it. Plus it’s only $20 and comes in a ton of colors. So if you are like me and looking for a go-to tank, I would highly recommend this one!

Another day, another Little White Dress. Seriously y’all, I am all about white these days (if you hadn’t noticed!). And this LWD is a favorite in my closet. The material so soft and flowy, and it has the cutest, flirtiest silhouette. Plus, it’s on major sale right now (less than $60!) and comes in a couple of other colors too that are even further reduced. I would definitely recommend snatching this one up before it sells out! I love a good tunic paired back to skinny jeans and a staple pair of pumps. It’s definitely a go-to look for me. And when I’m on the hunt for a new tunic, Free People is always a brand that I look to first. They have some of the best tops around, in my opinion. Particularly if you are looking for something flowy and comfortable for summer.

It’s no secret that I’m a huge fan of Free People. They have the best tops and dresses, both basic and trend. And while their prices can be high, they also have great sales. Take for example the top in today’s post, it was originally over $100, but I scored it for just under $25. So if you love FP like I do, but aren’t into spending over $100 on a top, then I recommend you do your Free People shopping at Bloomingdales, Nordstrom, and Macy’s. I always keep an eye on the pieces I love and then check prices during the weekend, when department stores typically have their big sales. And another helpful hint? If you have a Macy’s card, Free People is excluded from their 20% off coupons if it is full price, BUT once it breaks price and goes on sale, those 20% off codes work-so you can save even more!

If you all are looking for a great basic top to add to your wardrobe, I can’t say enough about this Free People tunic. It was the perfect shirt to layer with for sightseeing in some crazy weather in NYC the other week. It’s also always a go-to when I travel, or when I’m looking for an easy outfit to throw on. Truth be told, I am a creature of habit when it comes to denim. AG and 7 for All Mankind are by far away and my favorite brands and have been for several years. I’m also a fan of Paige, Joe’s, and Citizens. But I don’t necessarily love the high price tag of these designer brands. So every now and again, I’ll test out denim brands based on trend.
And that’s what led me to these jeans. I saw one of my favorite bloggers, Emily, from The Sweetest Thing, wearing this specific pair and I thought they were so cute (she tends to wear the same brands of denim that I do), that I decided to give them a try. And I am SO glad that I did! Not only are they cute, comfy, and fit true to size, but the best part? They are on sale for less than $90! So if you are looking for new denim for the spring season, I would highly recommend these!
