It is such an easy and comfy combo, but always leaves me feeling polished and put together. I love a good shift dress. It’s a great way to look polished without really putting in much thought or effort. Because let’s face it, sometimes getting dressed can be really HARD (no matter how many clothes you have in your closet!). So I always try to have a couple of these on hand in basic colors-a wardrobe hack, if you will. They are super flattering on just about any body type, and pair well with boots or pumps, blazers or denim jackets, and also happen to look great paired with faux fur vests! So if you don’t have a basic shift dress in your wardrobe, you should. Just another one of those items that will give you a ton of outfit options without breaking the bank!

It’s no secret that I love leopard. I mean, leopard is a neutral, after all!!!! So when I spotted this vest at Forever21, I knew it was a piece I would get a lot of wear out of-and I have! And because you guys showed so much interest when I posted a pic of it on Instagram the other day, I thought I would share it on the blog!!! Also, what are you guys thinking of the straight, sleek hair look? I am personally a fan of loose waves, but I have been so inspired by so many ladies rocking sleek tresses that I just had to test them out!!

My apologies for the radio silence, but I was traveling all week for work, and it poured rain all last weekend, so I fell a little behind with my outfit photos.
