Sometimes there is no better color combo than classic black and white. Especially when paired back to a pop of leopard and a bold lip to add a little dimension. Plus, do you guys love beanies as much as I do? I’m pretty sure I would wear one every day if I could. I am all about army green surplus jackets and they always seem to reign supreme in my closet this time of year. But truth be told, this camel color jacket has been my absolute favorite this season! It’s such a refreshing alternative to the ever popular olive-green jacket, and the gold hardware makes it feel extra special. It really is the perfect piece to throw on with jeans for all of those weekend errands and last-minute Christmas shopping!!

The Holiday Season

I love this time of year. And one of my favorite parts? The holiday parties! And fortunately, this season, J and I have plenty to attend-the first of which is this weekend! So when I saw this skirt in the Nordstrom Savvy department a couple of weeks ago, I knew it was the perfect holiday party piece to add to my closet! And I’m especially loving it back to a plaid shirt with a pop of red-helps to make it slightly less dressy and perfect for any type of holiday occaision!

Long Sleeved Dresses

I don’t know what it is, but I am obsessed with long sleeve dresses this Fall. Now don’t get me wrong, I love wearing all of my sleeveless dresses with cute jackets and cardis, but when the weather is still fairly mild, I love the idea of changing things up a bit and leaving the jacket at home. And while I was obviously drawn to this dress because of the sleeves, I also love it’s unique leopard print. It feels refreshing to me to add a piece to my closet that isn’t a basic leopard, but rather a fun play on my favorite type of print!

My apologies for the radio silence, but I was traveling all week for work, and it poured rain all last weekend, so I fell a little behind with my outfit photos. One of my favorite things about Fall fashion? PLAID! And now that the temps are finally starting to cool off a little in the SLC, I am happy to start rocking all of my favorite button downs again. This shirt was a staple in my closet last Fall, and it’s already well on its way to being a staple piece again this season. Not only does it bode well with denim, but it also looks great dressed up with a pop of leopard!

Army Green

I’ve got a thing for army green-no matter the season. But every year when Fall arrives, it seems to be on with a vengeance in my wardrobe. Especially if I can wear it with a little leopard. And while I would normally gravitate towards styling this outfit with denim, I wanted to give one of my favorite summer skirts one final hurrah for the season. And even though the airy gauze and tulle material of this skirt with it’s delicate floral embroidery lends itself incredibly well to warmer weather, I am pleasantly surprised how a little army green and a pop of leopard make it feel perfectly acceptable for the fall season. And you should see it with a leather jacket!! Maybe I won’t be putting this one away just yet…
