Sunglass Secret

If you have been following my blog for any amount of time now, then you probably know that I am obsessed with sunglasses.  And you also probably know that I love a good deal.  So with that said, I have always found myself in a bit of a conundrum when it comes to sunglasses-always wanting the latest designer pairs, but refusing to pay the high ticket price.  ENTER: Ditto!

If you guys haven’t heard of Ditto, it’s a super cool company that lets you rent ANY pair of designer sunglasses or glasses from their site for just $24/month.  There is no contract, and you can swap them out as often as you want (with free shipping and returns!).  And if you decide you want to keep them, then you can buy them for 15% off! How cool is that?  I have been able to test out so many different pairs of Prada, Karen Walkers, Ray-Bans, Dior’s, and even have my eye on a pair of Illesteva to try next!  So if you are anything like me want to try the sunnies without the hefty price tag, then Ditto is definitely or you.

PLUS, you can get your first month FREE if you use code: ALLDOLLEDUPBLOG at check out!

And without further adieu, here are a few of my favorite pairs that I would definitely recommend trying:DSC_2782 DSC_0905

Leopard Chic

It’s no secret that I love leopard.  I mean, leopard is a neutral, after all!!!!  So when I spotted this vest at Forever21, I knew it was a piece I would get a lot of wear out of-and I have!  And because you guys showed so much interest when I posted a pic of it on Instagram the other day, I thought I would share it on the blog!!!  Oh, and if you don’t follow me on Instagram, then you definitely should (you can find me here)…

Happy Hump Day!!

Girl About Town

My hubby races bikes every Saturday in the Fall.  And after his race, we usually like to find a new place somewhere in the city to either grab a beer or a coffee and a treat to celebrate.  It’s nothing too big or significant, but one of my favorite weekend traditions none-the-less.  And because our Saturday’s are so laid back, my outfits tend follow suit and are generally some variation of the below.  Jeans, puffy vest, booties, repeat…

Casual Friday

Stripes, camo, and leopard…together?  You bet!  Nothing better than mixing a few favorite prints.  And to sweeten the pot?  Why not add a vest, your favorite denim, and some basic gold jewelry.  And voila!  You are ready to take on the weekend in comfortable, casual style!

OR if you need a little extra cash, they will buy your gently used, name brand clothing from you.  Now how sweet is that?

Happy weekend friends!

Up On The Roof

I love anything that sparkles.  Especially if it adds an element of fun to an otherwise classic piece.  So when I saw this jacket at Express while I was in SF last wee, I knew it was a perfect addition to my closet.  I wear denim jackets all the time (especially this time of year), and I love that I now have a bit of a dressier option in my closet.  I can tell this jacket is going to be on heavy repeat in my closet this year!

White Out

I love white bags and have been wanting to add one to my collection for quite some time.  And while I only had three specific features I knew the bag had to have (saffiano leather, gold hardware, and a structured shape), I had a really hard time finding just the right one.  Well thank goodness for Rebecca Minkoff and her huge spring sample sale coinciding with my birthday this year!  I was able to snatch up the Avery tote which is not only gorgeous (and one of my favorite RM bags EVER), but it also met all of my white bag requirements.  AND the icing on top of the cake?  I was able to get it for less than half of the regular retail price!  My favorite kind of purchase!

Back To Basics

Sometimes when I am shooting outfits for the blog, I feel like I need to layer on extravagant jewelry and accessories, and create outfits with lots of details and interest.  I mean obviously, those types of things photograph better, and I, of course love the challenge of coming up with unique combinations of patterns and accessories to share with you guys (not to mention that it keeps you all interested)!  But on a daily basis, my style is really pretty simple.  And so today, I thought I’d take you back to the basics and share with you an outfit you would most likely catch me in during the work week: a go-to pair of black skinnies, a comfy button down, minimal jewelry, and a great pair of pumps.  Ok, ok, so maybe the pumps aren’t so basic.  But what can I say?  Shoes are my weakness!

THANK YOU so much for stopping by!

P.S. Can you believe the snow on the mountains behind me?  We had been having such gorgeous weather and then over the weekend, it turned on a dime.  Gotta love spring in the Rockies!

Camo

Happy Thursday, everyone!  I am on the road again this week for work, and enjoying the opportunity to spend some time in my home state of Montana.  But truth be told, I am ready to be home and sleep in my own bed.

But in the meantime, today I wanted to share with you one of my favorite combinations-camo and hot pink.  And while I wouldn’t initially have thought to put this outfit together, I happened to try on this sweater while I was wearing these pants running errands a couple of weekends ago and loved the way they looked together.  And once I added pink accessories, I was sold!  A perfect and fun go-to outfit for the transitional season between winter and spring!

Shades Of Gray

It’s been so gray the past couple of days, the weather must have seeped into my subconscious and impacted my wardrobe-a gray ensemble for an equally gray day.  But of course, I couldn’t let the dreariness completely overtake my outfit, and decided to brighten things up a little by adding a pair of yellow pumps.  Yellow and gray, after all, is one of my favorite color combinations.  Ever.

Also, while I don’t normally get too personal on the blog, I felt it pressing on my heart to share this story with all of you.  Sarah grew up down the street from me and at 32 years old is battling a rare and aggressive form of cancer.  And not only does she have a difficult fight ahead of her, but she has two young children and a husband to think about.  Please keep she and her family in your prayers, and if you feel so inclined to donate, there are links in the article (it’s super easy).  And feel free to share her story and spread the word if you feel so inclined.

Reading Sarah’s story reminds of how important it is to be thankful for my health.  It is something so easy to take for granted, but yet it is so incredibly precious.  A good  and humbling reminder…

Hope you are all having a great week!  Thank you so much for stopping by!
