There is something about the Fall season that makes me want to print mix. And one of my all-time favorite combos to put together is leopard and plaid. So if you haven’t tried mixing these two prints yet, then I challenge you to test it out this Fall. In fact, I can tell you that this is a combo you are probably going to see me wear a lot of on the blog this season. So consider yourself warned!

Has this week felt like the longest week ever to anyone else but me? I can’t believe how slow the time is dragging! Thank goodness it’s finally Thursday!

Leather and Lace

I love this time of year when I can transition my summer dresses into the Fall season. And even more than that, I love that I don’t have to put my white items away after Labor Day! Because as perfect as this white lace dress was to wear during the summer months, I actually prefer it dressed up with Fall ready accessories. And if you didn’t buy this FANTASTIC faux leather jacket last year (it is my absolute FAVORITE), it’s not too late, because Nordstrom brought it back again this season. It really is just that good (and it’s under $100)!

Fiesta!

I’ve been a little slow to hop on the off-shoulder-trend. It’s not that I don’t love it, because I do. My hesitation has been that I have broad shoulders and assumed it was a silhouette that would accentuate this and make me look wider on the top than I am. But once I started trying a few off-the-shoulder pieces on, I realized how wrong I was! And this dress is no exception. Not only is it fun and flirty, but it has beautiful laser cut trim, and makes me like I am going to a fun party or a fiesta! And even better than that? It’s under $20!!! So I want to know, how are you guys feeling about the off-the-shoulder trend?

T-Shirt Dress

I’ve always wanted a cute t-shirt dress, but could never find one that was flattering and didn’t, ah-hem, put a little too much on display. So I was thrilled when I stumbled on this one at the Gap recently. Not only is it super comfy, but it hits in all the right places and is thick enough that it doesn’t show every detail. Plus, it comes in a ton of cute colors !

Summer Boho

I posted a photo on my Insta a couple of weeks ago wearing the top in today’s post, and I had so many questions about it, that I wanted to put it up on the blog. It is another score from SheIn, and is a dupe for the Free People version-but this one won’t break the bank at under $20. The quality is also great-just like the other pieces I have tried from SheIn. It’s little short on me to be worn as a dress (keep in mind I am only 5’3″), but you could easily wear something underneath to give it a little length. I styled mine with denim shorts and tied it in the back so that I could do a messy front tuck. I also love it paired it with booties to give it a perfect summer boho feel.

Sunshine On My Shoulders

A yellow blazer is a piece I have been wanting to add to my wardrobe for the last 5 years, but I have never been able to find quite the right one. And after searching high and low for so long, I had all but given up until I saw this one in the window at Zara in downtown Seattle a couple of weeks ago. I knew the minute I saw it, that it was exactly what I had been looking for! And I absolutely LOVE it! I know I’ve said it before, but blazers are a great investment piece to add to your wardrobe. Not only are they classic and never go out of style, but you can wear them to just about any event-whether it be social or work related. Well hello there, sweet friends! Apologies for being a little MIA on the blog this last week. If you follow me on Insta (and if you don’t you can find me here: alldolledupblog), then you know I am on vacation with my hubby in gorgeous San Juan Del Sur, Nicaragua. It is our 3rd time visiting this beautiful country and we are having a blast! I had some blogs scheduled to share with you this week, but our internet has been a little spotty, so today is the first day I am able to share one of my planned posts with you!

I picked up this fantastic tulle skirt from Windsor Store for the holidays, but have found countless ways to wear it sine then. And I know I will be able to get a ton of use out of it in the coming months as well. In my opinion, a girl can never have too many tulle skits-especially when you can snag this one for under $35!!!!! So if you have been looking to add a tulle skirt to your closet, this is really a great option AND it comes in lots of super cute colors!

Dolled Up

I love getting dolled up. And the holiday season presents exactly that opportunity. But living in a state with a cold winter climate, sometimes I feel like I don’t have any coats or jackets that look or feel all that glamorous. So for quite a while, I have been on the hunt for a great (and affordable) faux fur animal print coat-and I am happy to report that I have finally found one (AND that it costs less than $65)!!! Not only is it super cozy (it reminds me of my favorite faux fur throw), but I love the vintage feel of it, and the idea of pairing it back to great heels and a dress for a NYE party, or wearing it with boots, skinny black pants, and a silk top (like I did for a friend’s casual wedding reception over the weekend)…

I am all about army green surplus jackets and they always seem to reign supreme in my closet this time of year. But truth be told, this camel color jacket has been my absolute favorite this season!
