Spring Fever

I had such a fabulous time on Friday night at the Fashion Place Mall spring fashion event. The show was fantastic, and I had the chance to meet some of my favorite local Utah bloggers! It was the perfect way to not only kick off spring fashion, but launch myself directly into full-fledged spring fever! And, of course, it was an excellent excuse to wear my new favorite skirt…

A Fashion Show and A Contest

I was thrilled to recently receive an email from one of my favorite bloggers (who also happens to be a PR rep for my go-to mall in the SLC) asking me to attend a Spring Fashion Event this Friday night at Fashion Place Mall. And of course I said yes!!!! I can’t even begin to tell you how excited I am to see the show and catch a glimpse of all of the fabulous spring fashion trends that the shops at Fashion Place have to offer. If you are a local reader, please come out at 6pm on Friday night to enjoy the show. The event is not only free to the public, but promises to be an ah-mazing time. I mean really, what better way to kick off the weekend than with a night of fashion?

In addition to putting on an incredible show, Fashion Place has also teamed up with Instagram to host a pretty awesome contest. April Showers

And with the 1st of April, came the rain. Thank goodness we have the beautiful blooms of May waiting for us on the other side. But in the interim, a fun umbrella just might be a good thing to add to your wardrobe. Better to be soggy and stylish than just plain soggy.

I always love a good excuse to get dressed up, but I especially love Easter and the reason why we celebrate the Resurrection of Christ. It is always one of my very favorite days of the year. I love a good tassel necklace. Maybe it’s because I’m from Montana and they remind me of a (fashionable) bolo tie, or maybe it’s just because they feel so new and different this season. Either way, a tassel necklace is an easy piece for anyone to wear and something simple (and inexpensive) everyone should add to their wardrobe this spring!
