And because I’m not ready to put it away quite yet, I decided to change it up a bit and style it with a utility vest and booties to make it more appropriate for the Fall season. And you know what? Wine Not?

J and I were in Sonoma this past weekend doing a little biking and wine tasting, and even though the temps were unusually hot, the leaves were changing colors and Fall was definitely in the air. So I of course, took full advantage of the opportunity and packed some cute plaid and my favorite booties. And I have to tell you guys, wearing dresses with booties is my very favorite kind of outfit right now. I am loving all shades of blue this season. And even though blue is a color I always love, it’s not necessarily a color that I’m typically drawn to wear, or one that has a very big presence in my wardrobe. But because there are so many beautiful shades available this spring and it is such an “it”color, blue is something I am definitely making an effort to wear more of!

Apologies for the radio silence on the blog the last few days! I am a Regional Director of Strategy for a major retailer and was facilitating my Spring 2016 planning meetings in Seattle all week. And even though I had a bunch of outfit photos ready to go, I was too exhausted to get any text posted. But I am back home now and can’t wait for a fun weekend with my hubby and pups!

It’s no secret that I love shoes. And there is almost nothing in the whole wide world of fashion that I love more than a great pair of statement pumps! So when I spotted these gorgeous Vince Camuto stunners when I was in San Francisco for meetings last week, I knew they would be a perfect addition to my wardrobe! Not only will they look fantastic with jeans, but I am especially loving the way they amp up a simple long sleeved black dress. A perfect (and super easy!) look for date night if you ask me!
