So, I almost didn’t have any blog photos to share with you guys this week. For once, I was actually ahead of the game and shot some pics over the weekend, but when I went to import them into Lightroom, I received a dreaded error that my SD card was corrupted. I tried everything to retrieve the photos, but no luck. So thank goodness for my tech savvy hubby who was able to save the day for me! And so, in today’s outfit, it should be noted that the message on my new favorite graphic tee is not just dedicated to my love for the combination of neon yellow, and blue, but also, specifically to him. Je t’aime (I love you)…

No Place Like Home

Maybe it’s the Dorothy Gale in me, but I’ve been drawn to them since I was a little girl and have always longed for my very own pair of ruby red slippers. I love the combo of graphic tees and leather jackets (see this post). But another pairing on frequent rotation in my wardrobe this season is the combo of graphic tees and printed pants. It’s so unexpected but a great example of pattern play. And with the right accessories, can even make you feel like a bit of a rock star…

Because one of our best V-Day’s was spent on a backpacking trip in Thailand a few years ago, Justin and I have a fun tradition of indulging in our favorite Thai food every year to celebrate. Seeing Spots

Two black and white outfit posts in a row-now that’s saying something for a girl who loves color like I do. And contrary to how I thought I might feel, I have found the black and white trend to be quite refreshing this season. So considering this and my penchant for snow leopard prints (which you can read about it here) it’s no surprise that this dress caught my eye on a recent H&M trip. A hybrid of leopard and polka dots all wrapped up in black in white? How could I resist.

As I noted in yesterday’s post, J and I headed on a road trip to Montana this past weekend so J could ride in the annual Rolling Thunder cross race in Missoula. It is a weekend we look forward to every year, not only because of the terrific event, but because we get to see family and friends while we are there. And this year, of course, did not disappoint. J had a podium finish in one of his two races, I snuck in some time with girlfriends (including meeting one’s little boy for the first time!), and most importantly, we were blessed to spend the weekend with J’s dad, and his brother and his wife (who just moved to the neighborhood where these photos were taken!!). It was a long drive home on Sunday, but the weekend was well worth the trip.
