Today’s outfit is a little out of my wheelhouse. But since I love a good chambray shirt (and have a few in my closet that are all fairly similar), I love that this one is totally different from anything else I own. The longer length in the front makes it feel a bit dressier than your typical chambray, but since it’s denim, it’s totally cool and casual for any occasion. A perfect of example of business in the front, party in the back! But I want to know, are you guys still into the chambray trend this season?

As soon as the temps begin to warm up, and the clocks spring forward, I always start thinking about what I want to wear for Easter. And today’s outfit would be a great option for an Easter dinner or brunch, or even a more casual church service. Because if anything says Spring in my book, it’s a pretty pale shade of pastel pink, and a light wash denim jacket. Jacket: JCrew (on sale!)

Statement Piece

You guys. I have wanted this coat for SO long. I have admired it, put it in my shopping cart about a million times, and finally took the plunge. And while the weather has been nice here in the SLC for the past couple of weeks, there is still plenty of chilly weather ahead of us (it snowed on Sunday!). And not only is this coat the perfect layering piece for all of that in-between weather, but it’s also a perfect statement piece for any wardrobe. Happy LEAP DAY, my loves! Contrary to how it might appear on the blog, I love to re-wear and re-style things in my wardrobe. In fact, if you’ve been following me for any length of time, then you know I am a big fan of adding pieces to your closet that can be styled multiple ways. And this dress is a great example. Today I’m styling it with over-the-knee boots, and my favorite blush pink vest. But you can see how I styled it last fall, with gray booties and a Panama hat. Same dress, totally different looks. French Kande
