Fall Vibes

While I hate to see summer go, I do love me some Fall fashion! And even though it’s still pretty hot here in Salt Lake, I am already starting to gravitate towards Fall color combinations, like today’s rust, leopard, and black look. And if you don’t have this top in your life yet (it also comes in a dress version!), then you need it ASAP. It comes in a bunch of colors and is less than $30. It’s seriously the best.

Sugar Plum

Plum is always a color I’m drawn to during the Fall months. And one of my favorite ways to wear it, is mixed with shades of pink. And I’m talking all shades of pink-from blush to hot pink. Plus, plum always looks great with a bold berry stained lip, which is perfectly on trend (and fun!) for the upcoming season.

Midi

I’m not very tall, at only 5’3″, so I typically shy away from midi-length dresses and skirts since I sometimes think they tend to swallow me up. But that’s not to say I don’t keep trying to find styles in this length that work for me. So I was pleasantly surprised when I found a couple of midi-length dresses at the Gap recently that are not only super soft and comfy, but are also really flattering (you can see the other midi-dress here). Plus this dress will look great with a leather jacket during the Fall season.

That Sunshine In My Pocket

Yellow is my absolute favorite color and has been ever since I moved past my pink and purple obsession in kindergarten. Ha! So when I saw this cute dress that was yellow, off-the-shoulder, and only $33, I knew it must have been made for me. But don’t worry, if you’re not a yellow fan (which I know everyone is not) it also comes in black. But no matter the color, it is seriously so cute and SO comfy. Pretty much the perfect go-to dress to throw on day or night.

Another day, another off-the-shoulder number. I just can’t seem to help myself when it comes to this trend! Plus, it’s the perfect neckline to show off my pretty new necklace from French Kande. I’m always on the hunt for good basic tanks during the summer months. But they are surprisingly hard to find. I mean really, is it too much to ask for a solid tank that can be dressed up or dressed down, worn with shorts, skirts, and denim, doesn’t shrink when you wash it, and at a great price point? Apparently so! So when I stumbled on this cute Free People tank, I knew I had to give it a try. And I’m glad I did, because I’m loving it. Plus it’s only $20 and comes in a ton of colors. So if you are like me and looking for a go-to tank, I would highly recommend this one!

Today’s outfit is all about staples. This skirt from JCrew has been a tried and true favorite of mine for the past two seasons. And apparently I’m not alone, because they keep bringing it back year after year. It’s just that good. This tank from Old Navy is another piece that is going to be on heavy rotation in my closet for seasons to come. And these shoes? Definitely my go-to pair this season (in case you hadn’t noticed!). Not only are they super cute and comfy (and they go with everything!), but they are also on major sale right now too!

Another LWD

Another day, another Little White Dress. Seriously y’all, I am all about white these days (if you hadn’t noticed!). And this LWD is a favorite in my closet. The material so soft and flowy, and it has the cutest, flirtiest silhouette. Plus, it’s on major sale right now (less than $60!) and comes in a couple of other colors too that are even further reduced. I would definitely recommend snatching this one up before it sells out!
