I can’t stop with the leopard and plaid. It is my favorite way to pattern mix. Especially in the Fall season. And this top? I love that it’s such a fun twist on a classic plaid shirt. It’s definitely a go-to in my wardrobe right now.

It was pretty cold when I was up in Montana earlier this week. But my mom and I still ventured up to Glacier National Park to have lunch at the lodge, take a little drive, and just drink in the glorious sights and crisp Fall air. And naturally, I gravitated towards my favorite Fall uniform for our adventure: an oversized cardi, comfy tunic tee, skinny jeans, booties, and a floppy hat. Though the seasons and trends come and go, long sleeve dresses have been at the top of my list for quite a while now. And this dress is a definite favorite. I love the soft pastel print, and the lightweight fabric makes it a perfect transitional piece to wear as the weather warms up (and it’s definitely getting warm around here)!

Not all outfits are created equal. There are always some that I love more than others, and this is definitely one of those. Perhaps it’s because this dress reminds me of something that I wore when I auditioned for collegiate music programs back in the day, or perhaps it’s because it incorporates so many of my favorite things (surplus vest, yellow pumps, Panama hat, dress with pockets, etc.) into one look. Whatever the reason, this is just one of those outfits that really feels like “me”, and one I can’t wait to wear again!
