You guys! I love this dress SO much. I was totally on the fence about it before I tried it on, but now that it’s arrived, I seriously can’t seem to stop thinking of different ways to style it. I love that you can dress it up or dress it down, and that it lends itself well back to a pop of color. The possibilities really are endless. And if you’ve been following my blog for a while, then you know that I love adding items to my wardrobe that present multiple outfit options. No matter how old you are, I believe there are ways to participate in the trends of the season (with a little tweaking here and there) to make them age appropriate. Take the cropped trend for example. I have been wanting to give this style a try for quite a while, but I’m obviously not going to be running around town showing off my stomach. So I was pleasantly surprised to find this top that is just long to keep me covered, but just short enough to fall into the cropped category. It also doesn’t hurt that it’s off-the-shoulder (which is my absolute favorite trend this season)!

I’d love to know, do you guys like to try out modified versions of different trends?

First of all, I LOVE the splatter print of this dress. There is just something so nostalgic about it to me. I think it’s because it reminds me of a denim jacket I had when I was a kid with neon splatter paint all over it!

Another day, another off-the-shoulder number. I just can’t seem to help myself when it comes to this trend! Plus, it’s the perfect neckline to show off my pretty new necklace from French Kande. Remember how I told you on Monday that you were going to be seeing a lot of the off-the-shoulder trend on the blog this season? Well, it looks like I wasn’t kidding. 🙂 But in addition to loving anything off-the-shoulder this summer, I am also loving anything white. And this top? I am pretty much obsessed with it.
