I love a good pop of neon. And this cute top from last summer is still one of my favorite things in my closet. It’s just one of those items that looks great with just about everything-denim, shorts, skirts-you name it! You can also see how I styled it last summer, here!

Ok guys, I have a confession to make. A lot of times when it comes to fashion, I can be rather boring. When I find an outfit combo that works, I often times just continue to repeat it, or slight variations of it (over and over). Take today’s post for example. I love the way this dress looks back to denim and a pop of neon, and if you remember this post, then today’s outfit might look awfully familiar to you. In all honesty though, I think it’s smart to remix your wardrobe-particularly if you are on a clothing budget or don’t love to shop. And dresses are a great starting piece that are easy to wear over and over in lots of different variations across multiple seasons…

Secret Garden

Well, despite my best intentions last week, I just could not get it together to get any content up on the blog. I thought I would have plenty of time to snap and share outfit photos, but we were so busy boating, rafting, fishing, hitting Glacier National Park, and enjoying family and friends, that there just wasn’t a lot of downtime. So my apologies for the lack of posts!

Fortunately, J and I did manage to snap off a few outfit shots on the last night of our trip at my mom and dad’s house-including these photos taken in my mom’s GORGEOUS garden. My parent’s yard is stunning and I wish I could take blog photos there all the time! In fact, it was in this very garden that I took some of my senior pictures! Crazy to think of how long ago that was!

I love stripes-any time of the year and for any occasion. And I especially love this JCrew striped mini. I love the vibrant colors mixed with a splash of gold. It feels festive and fun, while still being super casual (if you want it to be). I am even loving mixing metals and wearing both silver and gold with this particular piece. And seriously, how gorgeous is the balcony off our master suite at the Sea House? The home where we are spending our time in SJDS is beyond gorgeous in every way. I’m in love…

Vacation Style

Hola!! This morning I am writing this post to you guys from San Juan Del Sur, Nicaragua. If you checked out any of last week’s posts, or follow me on Instagram (alldolledupblog), then you know Justin and I are on vacation. And what a glorious vacation it has been! This is our 2nd time in SJDS and we are absolutely in love. Beautiful town, wonderful people, and an incredibly laid back lifestyle which has made it pretty easy for us to just kick back and relax. The biggest question of the day tends to be whether to go to the beach (surfing for J), or hang by the pool at our house.

We didn’t bring our DSLR with us, so J snapped these photos with his phone out on our patio while we were enjoying our favorite time of the day here…the sunset. Even Jack (our guard dog), loves to sit and watch the sunset with us and insisted in being in some of the photos with me. 🙂 Maxi skirts, minimal jewelry, and bright tanks have pretty much been my go-to uniform since we’ve been here (outside of bathing suits). And I am loving the super high slit of this maxi. Pretty sure it’s my favorite thing that I packed-not to mention that it cost less than $20!!! Tough to beat that!
