Today’s outfit is all about staples. This skirt from JCrew has been a tried and true favorite of mine for the past two seasons. And apparently I’m not alone, because they keep bringing it back year after year. It’s just that good. This tank from Old Navy is another piece that is going to be on heavy rotation in my closet for seasons to come. And these shoes? Definitely my go-to pair this season (in case you hadn’t noticed!). Not only are they super cute and comfy (and they go with everything!), but they are also on major sale right now too!

Remember how I told you on Monday that you were going to be seeing a lot of the off-the-shoulder trend on the blog this season? Well, it looks like I wasn’t kidding. 🙂 But in addition to loving anything off-the-shoulder this summer, I am also loving anything white. And this top? I am pretty much obsessed with it. And not only is it reasonably priced, but it’s one of those pieces that can be worn time and time again. Definitely worth every penny, and then some!

Though the seasons and trends come and go, long sleeve dresses have been at the top of my list for quite a while now. And this dress is a definite favorite. I love the soft pastel print, and the lightweight fabric makes it a perfect transitional piece to wear as the weather warms up (and it’s definitely getting warm around here)!

Summer Fashion Hacks

There are two things I am really into this summer: destroyed boyfriend shorts with heels, and orange lipstick. And for whatever reason, I seriously can’t seem to get enough either! Maybe it’s because together or alone, they both give the perfect balance of making you look like you tried, even if you really didn’t. I am loving boyfriend shorts this season. And because it has been a little cooler in the SLC the past few days, they have been a perfect choice to wear back to my favorite button-down shirts and wedges. In fact, it’s felt like a bit of a summer uniform for me. I mean really, what’s easier to put together than denim and gingham?

I am really on a stripe kick these days. And this dress from Express is seriously one of my very pieces in my closet. It is cute and comfy and the perfect piece to throw on for a BBQ, bike ride, dinner at home, or for a night on the town. All you have to do is change out your shoes and jewelry and it takes on a completely different personality every time. In fact, I love this dress so much (and it’s on sale for such a great price!) that I just picked it up in two more colors! If there is one dress you buy this summer, I am telling you, this is the one. You’re welcome!

Summer Chambray

We have had a little break from the heat wave here in the SLC the past few days, which prompted me to break out my favorite lightweight summer chambray shirt. I am a fan of chambray no matter the season, but one of my favorite ways to wear it is back to a full skirt. And it was the perfect choice for the weather this week. Especially because it gave me an excuse to wear my favorite wedges. I seriously can’t get enough of these shoes! T-Shirt Dress

So I was thrilled when I stumbled on this one at the Gap recently. Not only is it super comfy, but it hits in all the right places and is thick enough that it doesn’t show every detail. Plus, it comes in a ton of cute colors !

Summer Boho

I posted a photo on my Insta a couple of weeks ago wearing the top in today’s post, and I had so many questions about it, that I wanted to put it up on the blog. It is another score from SheIn, and is a dupe for the Free People version-but this one won’t break the bank at under $20. The quality is also great-just like the other pieces I have tried from SheIn. It’s little short on me to be worn as a dress (keep in mind I am only 5’3″), but you could easily wear something underneath to give it a little length. I styled mine with denim shorts and tied it in the back so that I could do a messy front tuck. I also love it paired it with booties to give it a perfect summer boho feel.
