Old Faithful

This skirt is something that I’ve had in my closet for a few years now.  And every summer, I get excited to pull it out because even though it isn’t new, it’s still a favorite piece.  I love the high-low silhouette, and pretty gauzy material, the color, and how it moves.  Plus, it’s surprisingly easy to style multiple ways, which makes it not only a favorite, but a great summer staple too.  I linked some really similar options below for you guys below. But I’d love to know, do you have a favorite item in your closet you love to wear over and over again?

Hope you guys are having a great week!  Thank you so much for stopping by!

Transitioning

I’m having a hard time believing that it’s already August.  And I can’t help but find myself starting to think about Fall, and purchasing transitional and Fall specific pieces.

So in today’s post, I wanted to share with you this super cute dress and how I’m wearing it now, and how I’m going to wear it when the temperatures start dropping.  Like I’ve said a lot on this blog, I love re-styling items and investing in pieces that will get a lot of use in my wardrobe.

P.S. How cute is my sweet Chloe girl?  She normally hates having her picture taken, but insisted on making a cameo in this post! 🙂

Mad for Plaid

I’ve found that it doesn’t really matter the season, in my book, plaid always works.  And right now I am really loving this cute plaid tunic from Chicwish.  Since I’m short, I tied a little knot in it to give help give me some shape (a great trick for voluminous tops if you’re petite, like me!).  And when the temps drop (I can’t believe I’m even thinking about that already), I can’t wait to pair it back to leggings, boots, and a cute jacket.

Hope you guys are having a great week!  Is anyone else following the Olympics?  I am, and I am especially loving the diving and the gymnastics this year.  I just can’t seem to get enough!

Ruffles

There are so many things I love about this little dress.  From the cute print, to the cut-out shoulders, to the ruffle detail on the sleeves, it’s pretty much perfect in every way.  And because I am a gal who loves to plan my outfit around my shoes, I especially love that it matches my favorite pink lace-up heels.

Happy Friday!  Hope you all have something fun planned this weekend.  In case you haven’t seen my Insta or Snap (follow me on both here: alldolledupblog), I am up in Montana visiting family and have been spending everyday out on the water.  So I’m obviously looking forward to some more boating adventures over the weekend, and hopefully a little huckleberry ice cream!

Enjoy your weekend!

Floral Detail

This summer, one of my very favorite trends is white dresses.  And I especially love the dress in today’s post, because not only is it great quality for less than $35, but the pretty floral detail makes it extra-special. Plus, it’s easy to dress up with a swipe of red lipstick and some fun lace up heels, or simple to dress down with a nude lipgloss and gladiator flats.

Dress: ASOS (it’s a petite, so I ordered one size up for a little more length) | Sunnies: Karen Walker c/o Ditto (rent them for FREE for one month with code: ALLDOLLEDUPBLOG at checkout) | Bag: Tory Burch | Heels: Ivanka Trump (SO comfy and on major sale!) |

Summer Boho

I posted a photo on my Insta a couple of weeks ago wearing the top in today’s post, and I had so many questions about it, that I wanted to put it up on the blog.  It is another score from SheIn, and is a dupe for the Free People version-but this one won’t break the bank at under $20.  The quality is also great-just like the other pieces I have tried from SheIn.  It’s little short on me to be worn as a dress (keep in mind I am only 5’3″), but you could easily wear something underneath to give it a little length.  I styled mine with denim shorts and tied it in the back so that I could do a messy front tuck.  I also love it paired it with booties to give it a perfect summer boho feel.

Top: SheIn c/o (I’m wearing a size Medium) | Denim Shorts: JCrew (on sale for under $30!) | Ring: Kendra Scott (my fave!) | Sunnies: Karen Walker | Bag: 3.1 Phillip Lim | Booties: Aldo (old), LOVE these

Hope you all had a wonderful and safe 4th of July weekend with your family and friends, and that your Monday isn’t too painful! 🙂

Thanks so much for stopping by!
