It didn’t occur to me when I originally wore this outfit, but when I was posting these photos, I realized this would have been a perfect ensemble for St. Patrick’s day! Ha! But none-the-less, this dress from Express is one of my favorite things ever (I also own it in black which you can see here). It is so comfy and cute and the perfect blank canvas to style in a multitude of ways! Plus it’s on major sale right now (under$30!!!). So, you might want to take a look and stock up, or at least snag one-I promise it’s a piece you’ll wear time and time again!

Two of my favorite things? A comfy knit dress, and this gorgeous white barn up in Park City!!! I have been consciously trying to incorporate long sleeve casual dresses into my wardrobe this year. Not only are they incredibly comfortable, but they are great for so many different occasions-especially when you want to be a little dressed up without being overdone. I love a good floral dress-especially if it’s long-sleeved! And Lulu’s is always a favorite place to find affordable dresses for any occasion. So when I was on the hunt for the perfect Easter dress, their website was the first place I looked! And while I am not sure if this is what I will wear to celebrate Easter this weekend, I do know that it is a piece that is going to get a lot of wear in my closet this Spring!

Casual Friday

I hardly ever wear flats. Part of it is because I am short, so I feel pretty short (and stumpy!) when I’m not in heels. But the other reason is because I have super narrow feet (and big!) feet, and I just can’t ever seem to find any that fit me properly! But when I spotted these leopard sneakers on the clearance rack at Macy’s a few weeks ago during a work trip (my feet were aching from being in heels and on my feet all day!), I thought it might not hurt to give them a try. And, while I can’t say I’m fully convinced that I pull them off, I am so glad that I am least trying. They have actually been the perfect commuter shoe when I’m working in the city, and I have even found myself gravitating towards them to run errands, or to ride my cruiser to dinner. And as much as I love my pumps and heels, I guess it isn’t really feasible to wear them everywhere….

Leopard Blazer

Like I’ve always said, leopard can be used as a neutral and works well back to pretty much any color you have in your closet. But truth be told, leopard and red is one of my all-time favorite combos-a pair that I often find myself gravitating towards. And since neutrals have been reigning supreme in my closet as of late, I decided it was time to put a little pop of color back in my wardrobe-and this was the perfect choice!

Statement Pumps

It’s no secret that I love shoes. And there is almost nothing in the whole wide world of fashion that I love more than a great pair of statement pumps! So when I spotted these gorgeous Vince Camuto stunners when I was in San Francisco for meetings last week, I knew they would be a perfect addition to my wardrobe! Not only will they look fantastic with jeans, but I am especially loving the way they amp up a simple long sleeved black dress. A perfect (and super easy!) look for date night if you ask me!

White Out

I have been really into neutrals lately. But perhaps equally as high on my radar is anything white. And based on what’s going on out in the market, I can tell I’m not alone! White is one of the hottest trends of the season. And with warmer temps upon us, I am ready to put all things white on heavy rotation in my closet! Second Chance

There is a funny saying floating around Instagram that says: “Nothing haunts us like the things we didn’t buy”. And every time I see it, I have a good chuckle, because sometimes it isn’t that far from the truth! Such was the case for the sweater in today’s post. I tried it on at JCrew last summer and decided not to buy it (even though I loved it). And I have always regretted not purchasing it. So when I saw that JCrew Factory released an almost identical version a few weeks ago-I pounced! And I am SO glad that I did.
