I love a good vest. And when I saw this cute number on one of my favorite bloggers, I knew it would be a perfect addition to my wardrobe. But now that this piece is hanging in my closet, what I especially love about it is how cozy it is. It’s more like a giant blanket scarf/wrap and is the perfect piece for layering up for a little added extra warmth. Crop It Like It’s Hot

I loved the crop shirt trend the last go around and fondly remember wearing cute crops with overalls and Birks. Heck, I was even wearing crop tops with low-rise jeans performing at the bars in Nashville back in the day! I was also in my late teens/early twenties at the time-so bearing a little midriff seemed perfectly acceptable. But now that the crop top trend is back, and finding me in my early 30’s, I’ve been a little unsure as to how to tackle this trend. Because at my age, I’m certainly not going to be running around with my navel hanging out! And while I’ve done some cute layering looks with crops, that doesn’t exactly work during the warmer summer months. So for those of you finding yourselves in the same predicament as me, I have found that a super cute and age appropriate way to wear a crop top, is with a high-wasited skirt. It still gives you the look and feel of the crop, but without baring all of the skin! And trust me, your belly button will thank you!
