Two of my favorite trends this season? Off-the-shoulder tops and dresses, and over-the-knee boots. So it was an obvious choice to pair the two together. Fall Vibes

While I hate to see summer go, I do love me some Fall fashion! And even though it’s still pretty hot here in Salt Lake, I am already starting to gravitate towards Fall color combinations, like today’s rust, leopard, and black look. And if you don’t have this top in your life yet (it also comes in a dress version!), then you need it ASAP. It comes in a bunch of colors and is less than $30. It’s seriously the best.

One of my favorite summer outfits is a casual long sleeve shirt paired with a pair of destroyed denim shorts. But since it’s such a basic look, it’s not one I feature on the blog very often. However, I love this shirt so much that I just had to share with you guys! Yellow is my absolute favorite color and has been ever since I moved past my pink and purple obsession in kindergarten. Ha! So when I saw this cute dress that was yellow, off-the-shoulder, and only $33, I knew it must have been made for me. But don’t worry, if you’re not a yellow fan (which I know everyone is not) it also comes in black. But no matter the color, it is seriously so cute and SO comfy. Pretty much the perfect go-to dress to throw on day or night.

So, I’m kind of sort of obsessed with this dress. And you know why? Because it is one of the most versatile pieces in my closet. I love that I can totally dress it up (like in today’s post), or that I could wear with it with a pair of Chuck Taylors, or some cute wedges and a floppy hat. Pieces like this, my friends, are the best and most cost-effective things you can add to your wardrobe. Plus, wouldn’t this dress be super cute dressed down for the 4th of July?

It’s is just one of those trends that I seem to keep reaching for. And this top? A hands down favorite of mine. I love the strapless style, the color, the fabric, and especially the price. I tend to gravitate towards denim jackets when I’m looking for a layering piece to wear over a dress. But this spring, I have been starting to reach towards cardigans more often. And I have to say, I am loving the look and the ease of pairing a cardigan with a dress. A longer cardi is also a great option to wear over a dress that borders on the shorter side for a little added coverage.

This little orchid skirt was one of my favorite purchases from last Spring. Fast forward to a year later, and it’s still one of my favorite things in my closet. And even though on its own it’s a pretty statement piece, I love that it goes so well with other bright colors, giving me endless options to style it different ways!
