I’ve always considered myself more of a nude lip/lip gloss girl. But over the last couple of years, I’ve slowly been incorporating lipstick into my life-mostly pinks, reds, and corals. It wasn’t until I stumbled on MAC Rebel last holiday season that I was convinced I could try a “vampier”, purple shade. And almost a year later, it is still one of my favorite lipsticks to wear. So when this beautiful coat arrived from Cabi, MAC Rebel was actually the first thing I thought to pair it with! Ha!

And while this coat is super fun with jeans and pumps, I really can’t wait to wear it to all of my holiday parties this season! So if you are in the market for a fabulous completer piece to get you through party season in style, then I’d highly recommend this pretty little number!

Jumper

I LOVE a good romper, but it took me a little longer to get hop on the jumpsuit bandwagon. But when I found this great navy version recently, I was sold! So while jumpsuits might seem a little intimidating at first, I definitely recommend at least trying one on. Not only are they chic, but they are amazingly comfy and easy to wear and style. In fact, I can’t wait to wear this one with a leather jacket and pumps when the temps cool down a bit.

The Perfect White T-Shirt

I love to dress up and try different looks for the blog. But at the end of the day, I am a t-shirt and jeans kind of a girl. And let me tell you, I have been hunting for the perfect white long-sleeve t-shirt for ages. But it seems all of the ones that I try are too see-through, the fit isn’t quite right, or they shrink like crazy and don’t last. So I am happy to finally report that I have officially found the perfect white t-shirt. The fit is fantastic, it isn’t see-through at all, and washes up perfectly. Plus the fabrication is so lovely, I know it was worth the price and will last me for years to come. So if you too have been on the hunt for the perfect white tee, then ladies, this post is for you!

Wine Not?

J and I were in Sonoma this past weekend doing a little biking and wine tasting, and even though the temps were unusually hot, the leaves were changing colors and Fall was definitely in the air. I love this time of year when I can transition my summer dresses into the Fall season. And even more than that, I love that I don’t have to put my white items away after Labor Day! Because as perfect as this white lace dress was to wear during the summer months, I actually prefer it dressed up with Fall ready accessories. And if you didn’t buy this FANTASTIC faux leather jacket last year (it is my absolute FAVORITE), it’s not too late, because Nordstrom brought it back again this season. It really is just that good (and it’s under $100)!

Believe it or not, sometimes I have no idea what to wear. Honestly, I think we all have those days where we just stand in our closets completely blank, not really knowing where to start. So when I find myself having one of those moments, I’ve found that sometimes the best solution is to go back to basics and go with what I “know”. All About Those Shoes

I have been wanting these shoes for a long time, but was a little unsure about the price tag. So after adding them to my Nordie’s shopping bag about 50 times over the last couple of months, I finally decided to go for it. And you know what? I am SO glad that I did. Not only are they super comfortable but they go with WAY more than I thought they would.

In fact, I wore them while I was in Seattle this week for meetings and literally had co-workers and people on the street stopping me to ask where they were from! Plus, since they are a perfect mix between a bootie and shoe, they are a great transitional piece for Fall!

Off-The-Shoulder

If you follow along on Instagram (alldolledupblog), or Snapchat (alldolledupblog), then you know that J and I were on vacation in Montana last week. Of course I had good intentions to take a lot of blog photos while were there, but it was insanely smokey from all of the fires, and truth be told, we were having too much fun to work! Ha! But I did manage to get some photos of this outfit, which is what I wore to a family brunch on Sunday.

I am obsessed with this off the shoulder top because it is so comfy and flowy-a slight departure from a lot of the tops in my closet. And while I have been having fun styling it with shorts, I can’t wait to wear it with long denim and booties in the Fall. So fear not, my friends, styled the right way, you can definitely transition your off-the-shoulder tops and dresses into the Fall season!

Hope you all had a fantastic weekend! I headed straight to Seattle from vacation for a week long leadership summit. And while I am looking forward to an inspirational week, I can’t wait to sleep in my own bed again!

Summer Dresses

I am and always have been a jeans and t-shirt kind of a girl. But last summer, I made an effort to start wearing more dresses. Especially during the summer months. And you know what? It is definitely something that has stuck. I find myself wearing more and more dresses these days without even making a conscious effort to do so. And this easy, breezy swing dress from Express is at the top of my list. I first found the long sleeve version this spring (which you can see how I styled it here), and then found it in sleeveless stripes, and now in this gorgeous cobalt blue. It is definitely a go-to in my wardrobe and as I head out on vacation today, you can guarantee it’s packed neatly in my suitcase!
