I love the color blue, but for some reason, it’s a color that I don’t wear very often. In fact, I hardly have any blue in my closet. So every once in a while, I find it necessary to remind myself that blue and gray just might be one of the prettiest (and one of my favorite) color combos ever. And in addition to pretty blues and grays, I think a grandpa cardigan is a must have in every gal’s closet this fall. Between you and me? I can’t stop wearing mine. Between this cardigan and my tassel necklace, I think I have a serious problem…

Hope you are all having a great week! Happy hump day!

I love a good hat. In fact, on most winter weekends, you can almost always find me wearing one (most likely covering up helmet hair from a day on the slopes). Not only are they an easy (and practical) accessory to throw on with just about any outfit, but they are perfect for this time of year when the temps start dropping (or when you just don’t feel like doing your hair)…

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. My hubby had a double header bike race this weekend, so ours revolved around biking. But lucky for me, Cyclocross is a really fun event to watch, and my husband is having a great year-so it’s always exciting.

I kind of feel like light colored denim has the same stigma as white after labor day. But this season it’s all about light denim-all year round. And while I have been all about wearing lighter washes with sweaters and button downs, for some reason, I was having a hard time coming up with ways to style my denim jacket. But thank goodness for Pinterest which inspired me to try it back to leopard. And I have to say, I am pretty sure this won’t be the last you’ll see of it this season!

I would love to know what you all think about wearing light wash denim after Labor Day! Feel free to leave a comment below.

I love plaid. Which is lucky for me, because it’s a key trend this fall season. And while I am so excited for all of the different ways I have up my sleeve to style this beloved print, right now, I am loving it paired back to leather and chiffon. A slightly masculine spin on a pretty fall dress, if you will (click here to see how I styled this dress last year)…

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Ours seemed to go by in the blink of an eye. But I must say, I am absolutely in love with the gorgeous Fall weather we are having. Oh how I love the month of October!

Since I’m heading down south tomorrow, it seems I’ve got camo on my mind. And believe it or not, camo just happens to be one of my very favorite prints. Maybe it’s the Montana girl in me, or maybe it’s the years I spent below the Mason Dixon line-either way, I couldn’t be happier that it’s an important print for the season. Kinda feels right up my alley-especially dolled up a little!

P.S. Can you believe it’s October already? Holy cow! Where on earth did the month of September go?
If you follow me on Instagram, then you know that J and I were in Las Vegas last week for a long weekend and a bike race. We had a fantastic time and spent our days riding our road bikes through the Red Rock Canyon, attending Interbike, doing a little shopping, and (mostly) lounging by the pool. It was a fun and relaxing few days. But I have to say, my favorite part was the excuse to get extra dressed up for dinner in the evenings. And any excuse to throw on a little extra sparkle is a good enough excuse for me…

Leopard makes everything better. Well not really, but it does make just about every outfit better. So if you are looking for a quick and easy way to take an otherwise simple outfit up a notch, then try adding a leopard belt, purse, scarf, or even a pair of leopard shoes. And I promise you, it will do just the trick…
