I’m not sure why, but I always feel like it’s more challenging to find cute long sleeved tops then it is to find cute short sleeve or sleeveless tops. So when I find one, I typically tend to snatch it right up. And the long sleeve top in today’s is exactly one of those pieces. Not only is it darling and a great price point, but the white is on trend for the season, and all of the pretty embroidered colors will make it easy to style a number of different ways. It’s pretty much a no-brainer to add to your wardrobe this Spring. And if you’re not a fan of white, don’t worry, it comes in navy too!

Banana Republic has always been a staple among my favorite places to shop. But lately, I have found myself shopping there even more than usual. And not just for clothing, but for accessories and shoes as well. So when they recently reached out to see if I wanted to do a collaboration and have one of their in-house stylists send me a couple of items to style on my blog, I immediately obliged. And I have to say, the stylist couldn’t have picked two more perfect items for me. I have already gotten so much wear out of this lightweight merino sweater (I am also in LOVE with the color). Recently I went through a phase where I couldn’t stop wearing neutrals. Yet suddenly, I can’t seem to get enough of bright colors. But I definitely can’t blame it on the spring-like weather, because it’s dumping snow here in Utah again this week!!!!! Regardless, it definitely feels good to be incorporating some brights (and fun print mixing) back into my wardrobe again, even if it is freezing!!!

You all probably know by now what a huge fan I am of army green. But what you might not know, is that one of my favorite ways to wear it is with neon or a bright pop of color. It’s a really easy way to change-up pieces you already have in your closet and give them a fresh new look.

Plus, I still can’t get over this studded jacket. I’ve had it for 2 years now and I wear it all the time. I would highly recommend it if you have been eyeing it. It literally goes with everything and is fantastic quality. You can also see how I styled it in the black here.

In my opinion, an ideal wardrobe has a good mix of both classic and fashion pieces. And while it’s fairly easy for me to list off my favorite places to pick up great fashion items (ASOS, Nordstrom, Express, H&M, Zara, etc.), I think it can sometimes be a bit trickier to find a tried and true classic resource.

So when I was introduced to Cabi clothing last year, I was thrilled because I knew it was going to be my go-to brand to fill in the classic pieces that my closet was missing. And while you’ve probably seen me post a few Cabi items on the blog here and there, this navy jacket has got to be my favorite purchase so far. It is a perfect staple jacket year round, and looks fantastic with a multitude of different outfits. Plus the fabric is fantastic and ideal for traveling!

I was recently asked by StyleWatch and JCPenney to participate in a blogger challenge. And I happily obliged! I was given a $50 gift card and tasked with putting together a whole outfit, or selecting a statement piece to build an outfit around. And let me tell you, it was really fun deciding which option to choose.

It had been a little while since I had been into a JCPenney, and it was a really positive experience to get to reacquaint myself with the store. But more than anything, I was pleasantly surprised to find a cute brand called Belle + Sky (TM). I ended up trying on armfuls of adorable things (I had to make 2 trips to the fitting room!), but ultimately settled on this hot pink moto jacket. It was originally $100, but was on sale for 40% off, and I found a coupon online which placed it right within my budget! So that was a huge score. I also ended up picking up a couple of other cute dresses (on my own dime!) that I ‘ve linked below!

Today’s outfit is a little out of my wheelhouse. But since I love a good chambray shirt (and have a few in my closet that are all fairly similar), I love that this one is totally different from anything else I own. The longer length in the front makes it feel a bit dressier than your typical chambray, but since it’s denim, it’s totally cool and casual for any occasion. A perfect of example of business in the front, party in the back! But I want to know, are you guys still into the chambray trend this season?

And today’s outfit would be a great option for an Easter dinner or brunch, or even a more casual church service. Not all outfits are created equal. There are always some that I love more than others, and this is definitely one of those. Perhaps it’s because this dress reminds me of something that I wore when I auditioned for collegiate music programs back in the day, or perhaps it’s because it incorporates so many of my favorite things (surplus vest, yellow pumps, Panama hat, dress with pockets, etc.) into one look. Whatever the reason, this is just one of those outfits that really feels like “me”, and one I can’t wait to wear again!
