#NSale Product Reviews

Nordstrom

Hi guys!  Happy Friday!  Since the Nordstrom Anniversary sale is officially open to the public, I wanted to take a minute and share some of my favorite purchases from the sale with all of you, along with some honest reviews of what I think about the products I purchased.

You can also shop my GUIDE TO THE NORDSTROM SALE here.

STRAPPY TOP:  My favorite purchase of the sale.  It’s under $20 and comes in a bunch of other colors.  I also bought the black.  Would definitely recommend this one.  Oh, and the back has the same cute strappy detailing as the front!

BOYFRIEND JEANS: LOVE these!  I am a total jean snob and usually only buy certain brands, but I loved the cut off bottoms of these (and the price! only $65!), so I took a chance and tried them. And I am SO glad I did.  Really love these.

SHIRT DRESS: I am always a sucker for a good shirts dress.  And anything olive green (obviously).  So this one was a no brainer for me.  It’s a great price point and I think it is SO cute.  My only hang up is that the fabric wrinkles pretty easily.  Although it also comes in a really cute stripe print, which would probably mask the wrinkles a little better (if you’re concerned about that).

LACE UP HEELS: These aren’t technically a part of the sale, but they are still on major sale at Nordstrom right now and are pretty much the comfiest heels I own.  LOVE these and definitely recommend them! (more sizes here)

NSale 2

TWIST FRONT TOP: This is a top I wouldn’t normally gravitate towards, but I loved it when I tried it on, and for less than $25, I had to give it a try.  Comes in a couple other colors and is a great piece to add to any wardrobe.

PAIGE DENIM: I love Paige denim, and these beauties are under $100!  I love the length and find that the Verdugo style holds it shape really well and doesn’t stretch out over time.  One of my favorite denim styles.

NSale 4

VEST: my vest is older, but everyone needs the vest that is in the sale in their closet ASAP.  The price point is really affordable and this will be a workhorse piece in your closet all year round!

DRESS: This dress isn’t part of the sale, but it is a great basic, comes in a ton of colors and is less than $50.  I have it in 3 colors and wear them all the time.  Definitely recommend this item!

OPEN-TOE BOOTIES: My only shoe purchase of the sale, and I am in love!  They are super comfy and I love the cute little ankle cut out detail (see pic below for more detail). They are also super flattering and less than $100.

NSale 5

SADDLE BAG: Absolutely LOVE this bag!  It sold out really quickly the first go-around, so if you are interested, I would make sure and snatch up quickly if you want it.  I love all of the colors, but ultimately went with the black.

BOOTIES: Same as above

DENIM: Same as above

Happy Friday, sweet friends.  And happy shopping!

Plaid Shirt Dress

If you don’t have a go-to plaid shirt dress in your wardrobe, then I would highly recommend purchasing one in the new year.  They are such a versatile piece that can be dressed up or dressed down and will give you tons of options for different outfits to create in your wardrobe.  A denim vest is also an excellent choice if you are looking to add a few new silhouettes to your closet in 2016!  Be sure to shop my favorite plaid dresses and vests below!

Mad for Plaid

To me, one of the best parts of Fall is all of the plaid I get to wear!  Ha!  And while I tend to gravitate towards plaid shirts, I am kind of obsessed with plaid dresses this season.  Not only does it feel like a fresh silhouette, but they are perfect now, and will also work later paired with leggings and boots when the snow starts to fly.

Dress: Forever21, also love this, and this | Necklace: House of Harlow (on sale!) | Sunnies: Ray-Ban | Bag: Rebecca Minkoff | Booties: Vince Camuto (old), just bought these (my new FAVES!)

And please don’t mind my mess hair in these photos-I swear it isn’t bed head!  It was super windy when we were shooting, so my hair and dress were everywhere! lol  Happy Friday, friends!

Abby
