There are so many things I love about this little dress. From the cute print, to the cut-out shoulders, to the ruffle detail on the sleeves, it’s pretty much perfect in every way. And because I am a gal who loves to plan my outfit around my shoes, I especially love that it matches my favorite pink lace-up heels.

I have a hard time saying no to anything striped. Particularly striped dresses this time of year. So when I spotted this cute little number at Nordstrom, I knew it would not only be the perfect thing to wear on the 4th, but that it would also be a comfy basic to keep on rotation in my closet this summer. And at only $38, who could resist?

First of all, I LOVE the splatter print of this dress. There is just something so nostalgic about it to me. I think it’s because it reminds me of a denim jacket I had when I was a kid with neon splatter paint all over it!

And second, can we talk about how amazing this necklace is? One of my best friends gifted it to me and I am OBSESSED! Plus, it’s less than $20. Talk about the perfect statement piece to add to your wardrobe this summer!

I tend to typically think of red as a Fall or Winter color. But it’s actually a perfect shade for summer too! And while this is a super simple dress, I love that it’s a little longer in the back than in the front. Plus, it’s super comfy, and less than $20. Can’t beat that!

In years past, I haven’t typically had a lot of blue in my closet. But this season, it seems to be a color that I am really gravitating towards. Budget Denim

Truth be told, I am a creature of habit when it comes to denim. AG and 7 for All Mankind are by far away and my favorite brands and have been for several years. I’m also a fan of Paige, Joe’s, and Citizens. But I don’t necessarily love the high price tag of these designer brands. So every now and again, I’ll test out denim brands based on trend.

And that’s what led me to these jeans. I saw one of my favorite bloggers, Emily, from The Sweetest Thing, wearing this specific pair and I thought they were so cute (she tends to wear the same brands of denim that I do), that I decided to give them a try. And I am SO glad that I did! Not only are they cute, comfy, and fit true to size, but the best part? They are on sale for less than $90!
