Rusted

Maybe I should apologize in advance, but from here on out, you guys are going to be seeing a lot of off-the-shoulder tops and dresses on my blog.  It’s is just one of those trends that I seem to keep reaching for.  And this top?  A hands down favorite of mine. I love the strapless style, the color, the fabric, and especially the price.  Would you believe that it’s only $10?  Trust me, you are definitely going to want to snatch this one up!

Pretty In Pink

This coat was a lot different in person than I had anticipated it would be when I ordered it online.  I initially thought it was a trench, but was pleasantly surprised with the fact that it wasn’t.  It’s actually a cozy felt material and feels more like a layering/completer piece as opposed to a jacket.  In fact, it reminds me a lot of this vest that is one of my favorite things to layer with in my closet.

Also, how fab are these pumps?  They look so much like the designer version, but are less than $60! AND they’re super comfy and come in a bunch of colors!

Proud To Be An American

I had good intentions of getting this post up in time for Memorial Day, but ended up being too busy having fun with my family (who was in town for the weekend) to sit down and do any blogging.  So my apologies for the absence of outfit posts the past few days!  But since I’m really digging the patriotic feel of what I wore for our Memorial Day BBQ, I still wanted to share it with all of you!

I love the combination of red, white, and blue-or in this case, neon coral, white, and blue.  And of course what could be more American than adding a little pop of denim to an ensemble?  So even though Memorial Day weekend has (sadly) come and gone, I love this outfit for a multitude of different summer occasions-including the 4th of July, or really any summer BBQ for that matter….

Connect The Dots

The combination of gray and yellow is one of my all-time favorites.  And when you add polka dots, a pop of leopard, and distressed denim into the mix, in my book, it’s a pretty perfect ensemble(not to mention ideal for the weekend!)…

Pump It Up

I am definitely a high heel kind of girl.  Not a huge fan of flats, and while I do love boots, if I had my choice, let’s be honest, I’d wear a fab pair of pumps everyday.  And so it should come as no surprise that this season I am especially loving making a statement with my footwear.  Don’t you just love that shoes aren’t just shoes anymore, but rather outfit completing accessories?

I had such a fun weekend in Chicago with friends (of course it went by way too fast).  But I couldn’t be happier to be home with my sweet family.  Well that, and the fact that we are only 2 days away from heading back to Nicaragua for a little vacay.  And let me tell you, I am so excited I can hardly stand it.  You can see my pics from last year’s vacation to the darling town of San Juan Del Sur here.

Happy Monday!!!
