I find it to be kind of amusing when people use the term “Sorry I’m not sorry”. And I have to say, that is exactly how I feel every time I slip on these neon heels. Rad Plaid

I am a pretty tried and true JCrew and Gap girl when it comes to my beloved button downs. And I rarely (if ever) venture outside of this cozy comfort zone. However, since I didn’t have any luck with either store on my hunt for a light gray plaid shirt this spring, I was forced to venture out. And I have to say, I am glad that I did because I am absolutely LOVING the fit and style of this Ralph Lauren Denim and Supply top. It is slightly longer in the back, the fabric is light and airy, and the fit is fantastic. In fact, it’s been such a popular shirt at Macy’s, it’s been selected as a customer favorite. And you know what that means? More prints and patterns to come! I know I’ll be on the lookout to add some additional versions of this fantastic shirt to my closet!

Leopard on leopard. What do y’all think? Yay or nay? I think yay. I am obviously a huge fan of print mixing, but typically gravitate towards pairing different patterns together (florals and stripes, stripes and leopard, polka dots and stripes, etc.). And while I believe it’s perfectly acceptable to mix two of the same print together, it definitely works best if you follow a couple of rules. The first is that the patterns are in the same or a complimentary color palette. And the second is that the size of the two different prints are contrasting. Pretty easy, don’t you think?

I have had my eye on this leopard sleeved Townsen sweatshirt for SO LONG! But I just couldn’t justify paying full price for it (because I don’t pay full price for anything-seriously!). So when it went on sale for less than half price right after Christmas, I knew I had to pounce (no pun intended!). And I am certainly glad that I did. If you follow me on Instagram (AllDolledUpBlog), then you know I rocked a very similar outfit to this one a couple of weeks ago for a shopping date with one of my best friends at Nordstrom. I hope that you all had a most wonderful Super Bowl weekend! We had a great weekend skiing at the resorts and in the backcountry, celebrating the 4th birthday of one of our very favorite little guys, and of course cheering on the Seahawks and the Broncos in the Super Bowl! It’s not very often that all your homies from the west make it into the big dance. So even though we may have slightly sided with the Broncos (Peyton is one of the nicest guys I’ve ever met), it was still pretty rad to see the west represent!

Blogging is a very interesting world to be a part of. In fact, all of social media for that matter. We have the option to share with the world only what we want them to see-often times making our lives seem a little (or a lot) more perfect and glamorous than they really maybe are. Truth be told, I have a very demanding full-time job and so when I take photos for this blog, half the time I’m throwing something together as my husband is running out the door for work and we snap off a few rushed photos with our neighbors looking on (surely thinking we’re crazy). It’s not a fancy affair by any means (one of these days I’ll have to do an outfit outtake post so you guys can see just how awkward I really am in front of the camera). And while I try my best to give you guys a variety of outfit ideas from week to week, in my real, day-to-day life, I am pretty casual.
