It was pretty cold when I was up in Montana earlier this week. But my mom and I still ventured up to Glacier National Park to have lunch at the lodge, take a little drive, and just drink in the glorious sights and crisp Fall air. And naturally, I gravitated towards my favorite Fall uniform for our adventure: an oversized cardi, comfy tunic tee, skinny jeans, booties, and a floppy hat. So if you are looking for some key items to add to your closet this Fall, these are all great staple pieces definitely worth picking up.

One of my favorite summer outfits is a casual long sleeve shirt paired with a pair of destroyed denim shorts. But since it’s such a basic look, it’s not one I feature on the blog very often. However, I love this shirt so much that I just had to share with you guys! I love a good romper. And this one just might be my favorite. Ever. I am always a fan of anything navy, which was originally why I was drawn to it, but the tie waist makes it particularly flattering. Plus the length isn’t too short-which is always something I seem to struggle with when it comes to rompers. I’m not sure why, but I always feel like it’s more challenging to find cute long sleeved tops then it is to find cute short sleeve or sleeveless tops. So when I find one, I typically tend to snatch it right up. And the long sleeve top in today’s is exactly one of those pieces. Not only is it darling and a great price point, but the white is on trend for the season, and all of the pretty embroidered colors will make it easy to style a number of different ways. Today’s outfit is a little out of my wheelhouse. But since I love a good chambray shirt (and have a few in my closet that are all fairly similar), I love that this one is totally different from anything else I own. The longer length in the front makes it feel a bit dressier than your typical chambray, but since it’s denim, it’s totally cool and casual for any occasion. A perfect of example of business in the front, party in the back! But I want to know, are you guys still into the chambray trend this season?

The “It” Jacket

I don’t know about you guys, but every once in a while I stumble upon a piece that I want to own in every color possible. And this jacket is one of those pieces. I have owned it in the army green color for the past 2 years and I have worn it so much (and received more compliments on it than I can count!), that it has become a tried and true favorite in my wardrobe. So when I found it came it came in a washed black color, I knew it would be a good investment. Plus, it’s under $55.
