So, I almost didn’t have any blog photos to share with you guys this week. For once, I was actually ahead of the game and shot some pics over the weekend, but when I went to import them into Lightroom, I received a dreaded error that my SD card was corrupted. I tried everything to retrieve the photos, but no luck. So thank goodness for my tech savvy hubby who was able to save the day for me! And so, in today’s outfit, it should be noted that the message on my new favorite graphic tee is not just dedicated to my love for the combination of neon yellow, and blue, but also, specifically to him. Je t’aime (I love you)…

In honor of the first day of Spring yesterday, it seemed fitting to break out my favorite floral wedges and a little hot pink. And while the weather here was so perfect and exactly as the first day of spring should be, I can’t help but find myself wishing for summer. Is that crazy? I love boyfriend jeans. They are so comfy, and casual, but also look fantastic dressed up back to heels and a cute top. In fact, I think it’s one of the spring trends that everyone should invest in. But be forewarned, it might take some trying on to find the perfect pair that work for your body type. In fact, it took me quite a while to find a pair that were both flattering and comfy-but they were definitely well worth the effort!

Besides boyfriend jeans, I also can’t seem to get enough these nude pumps. They are a fantastic staple piece for any closet and go with just about anything. So get ready, because you will probably be seeing them on the blog a lot.

Down On the Farm

Our weather has been a little crazy the past few days (nice one minute, then raining, or snowing the next!), so between that, and our busy schedules, it’s been a little hard to coordinate for blog photos this week. So yesterday after work, J and I decided to meet at a beautiful historic farm pretty close to our house. And even though it was freezing cold while we were shooting, I loved the location and can’t wait to shoot more photos there-even if we did get chased down by some whopping big snow geese!

And do you know what else I am loving? The simplicity of today’s outfit. Black and white is all the rage this season, and I love it paired back to simple chambray, nude pumps, and a bold lip. Another one of those looks that is so easy to put together, but makes you looked you really put some effort in!
