I was beyond thrilled when the sweet Fashion Editor from Salt Lake Magazine contacted me and asked if I would sit down with her for an interview about my blog and career in the fashion industry for their September/October issue. And as you can imagine, of course I said yes! What an honor to be able to talk about All Dolled Up and work with some of the amazing (and talented!) people behind the glossy publication!

And so today, I wanted to share with you the looks I styled for the photo shoot. I had so much fun coming up with Fall inspired outfits for this project (even though it was a sweltering 100 degrees the day we shot!), and it was the perfect excuse to finally buy the tulle skirt from Space 46 Boutique that I had been eyeing for months. And let me tell you, every girl should own a tulle skirt!

Back To Black

Sometimes there is nothing better than a LBD. Especially this time of year when paired back to a black leather jacket and a pop of leopard. There is just something so chic, yet so effortless about it. Talk about an easy way to look like you dressed up without even trying! And in my book, fashion shortcuts and pieces you can style all year long are the best.

Shades Of Gray

I have been on the hunt for a cute pair of gray jeans for a while now. So I was pretty excited when I found these cuffed Joe’s skinnies on sale for a major steal at Macy’s during the holiday weekend! Gray is a great alternative to your typical blue jeans, it’s an easy neutral, and a perfect addition to your denim wardrobe this Fall season!

Golden Hour

This past weekend, J and I had a little staycation up in Park City. And even though it was officially the last weekend of summer, the Fall season has already crept into the mountains. The leaves are starting to change colors and it was definitely jacket weather. But since I’m not ready to give up dresses quite yet, I am extending their seasonality by pairing them back to denim and leather jackets. And I’ve got to say, summer to fall transitional fashions are some favorite looks to put together!

I am never, ever ready for summer to end, but I am always ready for fall fashion! And even though the temps are still relatively warm, fall is definitely starting to creep into the air here in Utah and I can feel myself starting to gravitate towards darker colors, neutrals, denim, leopard, light jackets, and vests (of course)! J and I are officially on vacation this week. Hooray! And because we are road tripping from Utah to Montana, and will be spending our time on the water, in Glacier National Park, biking, and hanging with family and friends, my attire for the week is going to be pretty casual. In fact, most days you will probably find me in something pretty similar to today’s outfit: a comfy worn-in tee, destroyed denim shorts, casual wedges, minimal makeup and jewelry, and less than styled hair. And so today, I thought I’d show you a glimpse of the “everyday” me and hopefully provide some inspiration for what to wear in your real, everyday summer casual life!

Fire In the Sky

Happy Friday everyone! Remember how I said earlier in the week that I lost all of the outfit photos I had taken while we were on vacation? Well thanks to my hubby, I was able to salvage the photos from one outfit. And while I am still sad about the others, one, is certainly better than none! So with that said, I have to tell you guys that I am obsessed with this JCrew top. I had been eyeing it for quite some time and immediately snatched it up when it went on sale. The cute embroidered print reminds me of a pink and white Easter dress that I had when I was a little girl, and you all know how much I LOVE neon yellow-a little nostalgia and my favorite pop of color all rolled into one! Plus, it’s a great statement top that can be easily dressed up or down. And when the heat index is high, in my closet, easy, breezy, fun tops like these rule!

Quick (late!) post coming to you guys today. This was actually a recent outfit that I wore to work and I just had to share because I am loving bubble gum pink so much this summer. It is a fantastic, versatile color and of course pairs perfectly back to black skinnies and nude pumps with a pop of leopard!
