Pucker Up!

I LOVE the combination of leopard and mustard yellow. It is hands down one of my very favorites ever. And while I would normally pair this combo back to black, I am loving the added element that a dark wash denim brings to this look…

Happy hump day!

There was a period in time that I wore this denim vest so much that I had to make a conscious effort not to wear it so often. And I did such a good job of avoiding it that it ended up buried in the back of my closet and forgotten about for a period of time. And so today, I couldn’t be happier to welcome it back to the rotation! To me, there is just something about a vest (whether it be denim, down, leather, fur, etc.), that just adds that extra pop to any outfit. It’s just tough to beat those pieces in your wardrobe that make you look like you put in a little extra effort when you really actually didn’t…

I hope that you all had a wonderful weekend. I was lucky enough that one of my very best friends came to the SLC to visit me. And let me tell you, we had the most amazing time. From shopping, to manicures, to eyelash extensions, to fun dinners out on the town, and even a little Sundance Film Festival action, it will be a weekend that I will always fondly remember. Sometimes there just isn’t anything better than girl time.
And if you don’t already, be sure to follow along Instagram to catch all of my fashion (and real life) adventures!
Happy Monday!

To say I can’t get enough this Lookbook Store jacket would be an understatement. I adore it. I also adore this American Eagle dress-even though it’s a couple of years old. And with the tulle trend still in frenzy mode, I am certainly glad that I have held onto it. It’s definitely on frequent repeat in my closet and even on the blog! You can see another favorite way I’ve styled it here…

So I have to say, I absolutely LOVE these shoes, and I am super bummed about the dye transfer on them around my ankles (yikes!!). So I have to ask, does anyone out there have any good products or remedies to remove denim markings from suede? Please share if you do! Otherwise, these shoes are going to have to be worn with pants only from here on out!
Thank you so much for all of your sweet comments and support. I appreciate you guys so much!

I have to admit, I usually get pretty excited every year when Pantone announces their “official” color of the year. But last year I was so thrilled when they announced that the “it” color of 2013 was Emerald Green, that I didn’t hold out much hope for 2014-that is until they announced that their official color of the year was Radiant Orchid (insert swoon here). Now if there is one color that could top Emerald Green in my book, this is most definitely it. So what better way to kick off my 2014 blog posts than with an ode to Radiant Orchid, Pantone’s official color of 2014…

I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season. I have to admit, I’m a little sad to be back to the grind today. My time away from work just seemed to go by so quickly. But the good news is, I have a lot to look forward to in the next couple of months!
Happy Monday! And thanks for stopping by!

P.S. How amazingly gorgeous is Utah? So blessed to live in this beautiful state!
I always get a little reflective and perhaps even pensive when each year ends and a new one begins. It is a time of excitement and the promise of a new beginning and fresh start, but the turning of that page always makes me a little sad too. The older I get, the faster and faster time seems to go. Cliche, I know, but true none-the-less.
Looking back at 2013, this blog has really been such a highlight of my year. And so, I wanted to take today’s post to THANK ALL OF YOU for being with me every step of the way. Your support, your engagement, your ideas, your encouragement, your love-it has all meant the world to me. And I sincerely hope you will continue along this journey with me into 2014 I could not do what I do every day without each and every single one of you. So truly, from the bottom of my hear, THANK YOU.
And what better way to close out 2013 than with a look back at some of my (and yours too!) favorite looks from this year…

Wishing you and yours a safe and happy New Year. Goodbye 2013, hello 2014!
I’ll be back Thursday with regular blog posts, so be sure to stop by!
Thank you all again for everything this year!

I have a slight obsession with cognac boots-or more specifically these cognac boots. I wear them more than any other piece of footwear that I own and I am feeling pretty bummed that they are all but about worn out. And because I knew this would most likely be their last season, I have been on the hunt for a replacement pair all fall. And surprisingly I have had absolutely zero luck. Maybe I’ve set my standards too high, but how hard could it possibly be to find a pair in the right shade of cognac with a low heel (wedge or stacked), wide enough to fit my calves, that go with everything, and are neither too dressy, nor too casual? Apparently it’s nearly impossible. Looks like a trip to the cobbler is in my very near future-I need all the help I can get prolonging the life of these babies…

Fitness is incredibly important to me, and during this time of year, I am especially grateful to have a secret weapon to help beat that dreaded holiday weight gain. And that my friends is Kenny Akers’ 2Xtreme Bootcamp here in the SLC. Kenny whips me into tip-top shape, keeps me laughing through even the most challenging workouts, always brings the intensity and new challenges, pushes my limits and comfort level at every class, and is a constant source of inspiration to me and our entire bootcamp family. And today I wanted to share the opportunity to work out with Kenny with all of my Salt Lake readers. Kenny is offering All Dolled Up readers one week (3 classes) free to come and check out his camp. He is also extending a discount of 20% off of your first month if you mention this blog post. You can find Kenny here, or you can email me (abby_doll@hotmail.com) for details. When I think florals, I definitely think Spring. But for whatever reason, I have been finding myself drawn to bright colors and flowery patterns this Fall season. Maybe it’s denial about the cooler months ahead, or maybe it’s my love for color. But either way, I am kind of digging breaking out some of my favorite Spring pieces in the month of November…
