Holiday Glam

If you are looking to step up your outerwear game this season, then I would highly recommend trying a furry or fuzzy coat. I initially picked up a blush pink version (which you can see here), and loved it so much, that I have been on the hunt for a more casual option the past few weeks. And I just so happened to luck out and find this cozy one (on sale!) that was exactly what I was looking for. Twirly Girl

When I was a little girl, I LOVED skirts that I could twirl in. I mean really, what little girl doesn’t? And even as an adult, I am still drawn pretty feminine skirts and dresses that make me feel like twirling around like a little kid. And this gorgeous polka tulle skirt from Dainty Jewells does just that. I mean really, tulle AND polka dots? You had me with just the tulle!

When the temp drops, I love bundling up in layers. And I find that mixing a great long sleeve top, furry vest, and cute jacket is always a cute and cozy winning combo. This time of year, fashion pieces that also serve a purpose, are an imperative part of any wardrobe if you want to stay warm and look good doing it!

The Ghosts of Christmas Past

Happy Friday, sweet friends! Sorry to have been a little absent on the blog this week. I was traveling for some big work meetings and a snow storm at the beginning of the week made it tough to get any new photos!

But with that said, the falling snow reminded me that not only are the Holidays just around the corner, BUT I need to start planning my Holiday outfits. I’ve always considered myself more of a nude lip/lip gloss girl. But over the last couple of years, I’ve slowly been incorporating lipstick into my life-mostly pinks, reds, and corals. It wasn’t until I stumbled on MAC Rebel last holiday season that I was convinced I could try a “vampier”, purple shade. And almost a year later, it is still one of my favorite lipsticks to wear. So when this beautiful coat arrived from Cabi, MAC Rebel was actually the first thing I thought to pair it with! Ha!

And while this coat is super fun with jeans and pumps, I really can’t wait to wear it to all of my holiday parties this season! So if you are in the market for a fabulous completer piece to get you through party season in style, then I’d highly recommend this pretty little number!
