This jacket is about the best thing in my closet right now. If it looks familiar, that’s because I own it in black and in a burgundy color and wear them both all of the time. In fact, I am in NYC right now and my black version was the first thing I packed for my trip. And the good news is, Nordstrom has it fully stocked in black, cognac, and this blush color right now. The fit is amazing, the faux leather is gorgeous quality, AND it’s under $100! I would highly recommend adding this piece (in at least one, if not two!), colors to your closet this season. It’s one of those classic staples that you will wear again and again (all year round), and I just can’t say enough good things about it!

Faux Fur

I love pretty much anything with faux fur during the colder months. And this winter, I am especially loving any faux fur in neutral colors. Particularly winter white. So this jacket had my name written all over it when I saw it on sale at Macy’s a couple of weeks ago. In my opinion, it’s tough to beat a cozy, cute fitting jacket this time of year.

When I posted this gray jacket on Instagram last week, I had a lot of you ask me if I would include it in a blog post. And because I love it just as much as you guys seem to, I couldn’t help but oblige. Not only has this jacket become a staple in my wardrobe this winter, but it is under $40 (say what?)! So if you are looking for a new piece of outerwear to add to your wardrobe this season that won’t break the bank, then look no further than this chic coat!

Olive The Other Sequins

One of my favorite aspects about fashion (and home decor!) is repurposing things that I already own. And this sequin JCrew dress is a great example. I picked it up on clearance this summer and loved wearing it during the warmer months. But because December is the month of sequins (and lots of red and green!), I wanted to try styling it for colder weather. So I layered it with my favorite Portofino shirt from Express, and a new vest (that I’m completely obsessed with, BTW). And I have to say, I love the result. This is an outfit that would be great for a company Christmas party, a girl’s night out, or pretty much any dressy event that the month of December serves up!

Black and Tan

Two of my favorite colors to mix together are black and tan. Wearing all black can tend to sku a little dressy, so adding in a great tan or cognac boot, or accessory, is a great way to make the ensemble a little more casual.

Leather and Lace

I love this time of year when I can transition my summer dresses into the Fall season. And even more than that, I love that I don’t have to put my white items away after Labor Day! Because as perfect as this white lace dress was to wear during the summer months, I actually prefer it dressed up with Fall ready accessories. And if you didn’t buy this FANTASTIC faux leather jacket last year (it is my absolute FAVORITE), it’s not too late, because Nordstrom brought it back again this season. It really is just that good (and it’s under $100)!

Summer Chambray

We have had a little break from the heat wave here in the SLC the past few days, which prompted me to break out my favorite lightweight summer chambray shirt. I am a fan of chambray no matter the season, but one of my favorite ways to wear it is back to a full skirt. And it was the perfect choice for the weather this week. Especially because it gave me an excuse to wear my favorite wedges. I seriously can’t get enough of these shoes! I love bright colors. And at the top of that list? All things neon. Which makes this skirt one of my very favorite things in my closet this spring. There is nothing I feel more comfortable in than a basic tee, a cute moto jacket, destroyed skinnies, and a fun pair of pumps. I guess you could say it’s my uniform, and definitely my go-to ensemble when I don’t know what to wear (which happens way more often than you might think!). And while I normally gravitate towards 7 for all mankind as my denim of choice, these Citizens have quickly become my current favorites! Shoulder Detail

I am loving any top I can get my hands on with details on the shoulders this season. From embroidery (see this post), to cut outs, to sequins-I am all in.
