You guys! I have been dying to share these photos with you since the day we got them back from LC Photography. J and I send out a Christmas card every year, and this year I wanted to do a Christmas inspired shoot up in our beloved mountains of Utah. We had never done anything holiday themed before so it was a pretty fun project to work on. Plus, it’s always a bonus to be photographed by the incredibly talented duo that makes up LC Photography AND get some photos with my handsome hubby (who is always such a good sport and incredibly supportive of all of my creative endeavors)!

Denim on Denim

I’m always a little hesitant to wear two denim pieces together. It probably stems from growing up in Montana and not wanting to be caught in the dreaded “Canadian Tuxedo” (or as I am sure they call it, the “Montana Tuxedo”). But I have found that if your two denims differ enough, then wearing denim on denim is perfectly acceptable, and even quite stylish given the current trend! So take it from me and don’t be afraid to rock your denim pieces together-just make sure you have some contrast!

Lemon Lime

YOU GUYS! I am back! My apologies for the radio silence on the blog last week! I was traveling for work and on vacation and between our crazy adventures and some unexpected technical issues with my memory card (I lost all of the outfit posts I had planned!), I just couldn’t get any content up. But boy did I miss you all and couldn’t be happier to be back and sharing today’s post!

If you follow me on Instagram (and if you don’t, you can follow me here), then you know I had the opportunity to do a photo shoot with the incredibly talented LC Photography a couple of weeks ago. I had such an amazing time working with them and was so happy to finally have the perfect opportunity to shoot my beloved neon tulle skirt from The Girl That Loves. Tulle is all the rage right now and The Girl That Loves has an assortment of incredible colors and styles that are also extremely comfortable. I hope you all had a WONDERFUL 4th of July weekend! We spent our holiday in the cute little town of Red Lodge, Montana and had such a fantastic time. My only wish is that it could have lasted just a little bit longer. But isn’t that how it usually goes???
