It didn’t occur to me when I originally wore this outfit, but when I was posting these photos, I realized this would have been a perfect ensemble for St. Patrick’s day! Ha! But none-the-less, this dress from Express is one of my favorite things ever (I also own it in black which you can see here). It is so comfy and cute and the perfect blank canvas to style in a multitude of ways! Plus it’s on major sale right now (under$30!!!). So, you might want to take a look and stock up, or at least snag one-I promise it’s a piece you’ll wear time and time again!

Two of my favorite things? A comfy knit dress, and this gorgeous white barn up in Park City!!! I have been consciously trying to incorporate long sleeve casual dresses into my wardrobe this year. Not only are they incredibly comfortable, but they are great for so many different occasions-especially when you want to be a little dressed up without being overdone. Happy Monday, friends! Hope you all had a great weekend! Ours was filled with home renovation projects, friends, and lots and lots of sunshine and biking. BUT despite the fantastic weather, there was definitely still a chill in the air. And this time of year, when temps are still in that in-between phase, I find that a denim jacket is the perfect weight to layer on over your outfit to keep you warm and stylish. And I am loving this pale blue, white washed version from Nordstrom. It’s a nice change-up from tried and true blue and gives me different options for styling than my go-to JCrew denim jacket. Plus, something about the pale color just feels extra fresh for Spring…

Sunshine On My Shoulders

A yellow blazer is a piece I have been wanting to add to my wardrobe for the last 5 years, but I have never been able to find quite the right one. And after searching high and low for so long, I had all but given up until I saw this one in the window at Zara in downtown Seattle a couple of weeks ago. I knew the minute I saw it, that it was exactly what I had been looking for! And I absolutely LOVE it! I know I’ve said it before, but blazers are a great investment piece to add to your wardrobe. Not only are they classic and never go out of style, but you can wear them to just about any event-whether it be social or work related. The Blues

I am loving all shades of blue this season. And even though blue is a color I always love, it’s not necessarily a color that I’m typically drawn to wear, or one that has a very big presence in my wardrobe. But because there are so many beautiful shades available this spring and it is such an “it”color, blue is something I am definitely making an effort to wear more of!

Apologies for the radio silence on the blog the last few days! I am a Regional Director of Strategy for a major retailer and was facilitating my Spring 2016 planning meetings in Seattle all week. And even though I had a bunch of outfit photos ready to go, I was too exhausted to get any text posted. But I am back home now and can’t wait for a fun weekend with my hubby and pups!

Leopard Blazer

Like I’ve always said, leopard can be used as a neutral and works well back to pretty much any color you have in your closet. But truth be told, leopard and red is one of my all-time favorite combos-a pair that I often find myself gravitating towards. And since neutrals have been reigning supreme in my closet as of late, I decided it was time to put a little pop of color back in my wardrobe-and this was the perfect choice!
