Super comfy, easy to dress up or dress down, fun to style a lot of different ways, and it’s under $35! Budget Denim

Truth be told, I am a creature of habit when it comes to denim. AG and 7 for All Mankind are by far away and my favorite brands and have been for several years. I’m also a fan of Paige, Joe’s, and Citizens. But I don’t necessarily love the high price tag of these designer brands. So every now and again, I’ll test out denim brands based on trend.

And that’s what led me to these jeans. I saw one of my favorite bloggers, Emily, from The Sweetest Thing, wearing this specific pair and I thought they were so cute (she tends to wear the same brands of denim that I do), that I decided to give them a try. And I am SO glad that I did! Not only are they cute, comfy, and fit true to size, but the best part? They are on sale for less than $90! So if you are looking for new denim for the spring season, I would highly recommend these!

I’m not sure why, but I always feel like it’s more challenging to find cute long sleeved tops then it is to find cute short sleeve or sleeveless tops. So when I find one, I typically tend to snatch it right up. And the long sleeve top in today’s is exactly one of those pieces. Not only is it darling and a great price point, but the white is on trend for the season, and all of the pretty embroidered colors will make it easy to style a number of different ways. Banana Republic has always been a staple among my favorite places to shop. But lately, I have found myself shopping there even more than usual. And not just for clothing, but for accessories and shoes as well. So when they recently reached out to see if I wanted to do a collaboration and have one of their in-house stylists send me a couple of items to style on my blog, I immediately obliged. And I have to say, the stylist couldn’t have picked two more perfect items for me. I have already gotten so much wear out of this lightweight merino sweater (I am also in LOVE with the color). You all probably know by now what a huge fan I am of army green. But what you might not know, is that one of my favorite ways to wear it is with neon or a bright pop of color. It’s a really easy way to change-up pieces you already have in your closet and give them a fresh new look.

Plus, I still can’t get over this studded jacket. I’ve had it for 2 years now and I wear it all the time. I would highly recommend it if you have been eyeing it. It literally goes with everything and is fantastic quality. You can also see how I styled it in the black here.

I’m not the most quintessentially “girly” dresser. And while I love dresses and skirts, I typically tend to gravitate towards denim. However, when I spotted this cute skirt, tied with a bow, I knew it would be a great piece to add to my wardrobe. Especially since it’s under $30!

I was recently asked by StyleWatch and JCPenney to participate in a blogger challenge. And I happily obliged! I was given a $50 gift card and tasked with putting together a whole outfit, or selecting a statement piece to build an outfit around. And let me tell you, it was really fun deciding which option to choose.

It had been a little while since I had been into a JCPenney, and it was a really positive experience to get to reacquaint myself with the store. But more than anything, I was pleasantly surprised to find a cute brand called Belle + Sky (TM). I ended up trying on armfuls of adorable things (I had to make 2 trips to the fitting room!), but ultimately settled on this hot pink moto jacket. It was originally $100, but was on sale for 40% off, and I found a coupon online which placed it right within my budget! So that was a huge score. I also ended up picking up a couple of other cute dresses (on my own dime!) that I ‘ve linked below!
