Besides sequins (and velvet this year!), one of my favorite things about dressing for the holiday season, is incorporating pops of red into my outfits. Whether I’m dressed up, or casual, I love how a subtle pop of red, like a fun pair of shoes (and a Starbucks red cup, of course!), can give your look a festive feel!

Olive and nude is always a favorite color combo of mine. And this olive tunic is so soft and cozy (and under $40!), it’s pretty much my favorite purchase of the Fall season. I’m also loving this faux suede vest. It is just one of those pieces that I will be able to get a ton of wear out of. And you know I always love (and recommend) pieces that are a good investment!

One of my favorite things about living in Utah is the Fall season. Typically the weather is balmy and the colors in the mountains are off the hook. But this year, we got our first snow a little earlier than usual, which made for some especially gorgeous scenery this weekend, and a drastic drop in temperature, leaving me scrambling to pull out some warmer Fall layers. Thank goodness I had recently picked up this sweater from Nordstrom. And I have to say, if you are going to buy one thing for your closet this season, it should be this sweater. Not only is it less than $40, but it comes in a ton of colors and is the perfect staple to add to your wardrobe.

Happy first day of Fall, friends! Can you believe that summer has officially come and gone? I always hate it when summer goes, but I am definitely ready for all things pumpkin and cozy. The only problem is, it’s been blazing hot here in the SLC, which has made it nearly impossible to layer up. But I’ve still been able to get a start wearing my favorite Fall trends by adding things like lace-up pumps, and cocoon vests to my looks.
