White dresses are all the rage this summer.  And I have to say, this is a trend that I am more than happy to jump on board with!  Because while I always love a good splash of color, sometimes you really just can’t beat a white and neutral ensemble.

Neon

You all probably know by now what a huge fan I am of army green.  But what you might not know, is that one of my favorite ways to wear it is with neon or a bright pop of color.  It’s a really easy way to change-up pieces you already have in your closet and give them a fresh new look.

Plus, I still can’t get over this studded jacket.  I’ve had it for 2 years now and I wear it all the time.  I would highly recommend it if you have been eyeing it.  It literally goes with everything and is fantastic quality.  You can also see how I styled it in the black here.

And can we just talk about the SNOW on the ground for a minute?  So crazy.  It was 70 on Monday, and then we had a huge storm roll in on Tuesday.  My poor flowers, and all of the blossoms on the trees!  Fortunately it’s supposed to warm up again over the weekend.  Just in time for Easter!

Pops Of Red

Even though the Holidays have long since come and gone (I mean seriously, how is it MARCH?), I am still absolutely loving a pop of red.  Whether it’s a red dress, a red top, a red pump, or a swipe of red across the lip, red is a color that always has a place in my wardrobe or beauty routine-no matter the season.DSC_4522 DSC_4527DSC_4547 DSC_4509 DSC_4519 DSC_4558 DSC_4514 DSC_4526 DSC_4549 DSC_4583Dress: H&M, same dress different print | Necklace: Macy’s | Hat: Macy’s (under $30!) | Sunnies: Karen Walker (on sale!) | Clutch: Clare V. Repeat

Happy LEAP DAY, my loves!  Contrary to how it might appear on the blog, I love to re-wear and re-style things in my wardrobe.  In fact, if you’ve been following me for any length of time, then you know I am a big fan of adding pieces to your closet that can be styled multiple ways.  And this dress is a great example.  Today I’m styling it with over-the-knee boots, and my favorite blush pink vest.  But you can see how I styled it last fall, with gray booties and a Panama hat.  Same dress, totally different looks. Now how fun is that?DSC_4591 DSC_4597 DSC_4633 DSC_4609 DSC_4624 DSC_4626DSC_4595 DSC_4654 DSC_4651 DSC_4666Dress: ASTR (sold out), same dress different print, also love this and have this on my wishlist | Vest: Topshop | Bracelet: JCrew | Sunnies: Karen Walker c/o Ditto | Bag: Tory Burch | Boots: Steve Madden (ah-mazing! BUT they run big, so size down!  I’m a size 8.5, but ended up buying the 7.5 in these.)

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend!

And don’t forget, today is the LAST DAY to get any curling wand from NuMe for just $29!!  Use code: 29WANDS at checkout (that’s over $120 off the full retail price!)!  For reference, I use the Magic Wand in the 25mm.

Enjoy this bonus day today!!

Brunch

Yesterday I mentioned that I celebrated the wedding of two dear friends this past weekend.  And today’s outfit is what I wore to the brunch the day after the wedding. I have worn this plaid shirt a ton over the last few months because it’s a super easy piece to style in a multitude of different ways (it was last featured on the blog here). So it was a no-brainer to throw on, and left me feeling super comfy, yet put together.

Nude

Nude and neutral tones are totally my jam this season.  And this blazer?  It is so cute with the peplum back.  I seriously can’t say enough good things about it. Because if there is one thing I really love, it’s a great fitting, unique jacket with a price tag that doesn’t break the bank (it also comes in black and is only $51!).DSC_3672 DSC_3673 DSC_3709 DSC_3675 DSC_3682 DSC_3710 DSC_3698 DSC_3754 DSC_3747 DSC_3733 DSC_3762Blazer: Lookbook Store c/o (also comes in black!) | Sequin Top: JCrew (on sale!) | Skinnies: AG Farrah | Sunnies: Karen Walker c/o Ditto (try them for one month free with code: ALLDOLLEDUPBLOG at checkout!) | Bag: Rebecca Minkoff | Pumps: Jeffrey Campbell (sold out), almost identical, also love these

Winter Florals

Even though it’s the dead of winter, I can’t help but find myself already wishing for spring.  So I’ve been slowly starting to incorporate some florals and brights back into my wardrobe. And this Free People top is a new favorite!  I have it tied here to make it a little shorter in the front, but it’s a great tunic length and would look perfect (untied) with tights or leggings.

But I’m curious to know, do you guys feel about wearing florals in the winter?

Skirting the Issue

If you have been following my blog for a while, then you might remember that this past summer, I made a promise to push myself out of my comfort zone and wear more dresses.  While it was difficult at first, I was so glad I did it and really felt like it pushed me to think outside of the box.

So, I have been trying the same thing this winter.  But because of the colder weather, I have found it to be a little more challenging.  That is why I have loved this skirt so much.  Not only is it a beautiful, thick, flannel material, but it has a nice lining, and is the perfect length for the winter months.  So it’s been an ideal piece for me to style when I’m making an effort to wear something other than just jeans or leggings (although it looks great with leggings too! ha!)!

Special

I’ve said it once, and I’ll say it again, shift coats are awesome.  And this gorgeous black and white number is at the top of my list of all-time favorite things in my closet.  Not only is it under $40, but the quality is fantastic and the fabric and print is so pretty, people literally stop me on the street to ask me where they can buy it.  So if you’re looking for something beautiful and special to add to your wardrobe (that won’t break the bank!), do yourself a favor and pick this piece. Also, how fabulous will it look styled with a dress and strappy heels when the weather warms up?  I can’t wait!

Booties

I know I’ve been saying this a lot lately, but I cannot get enough of long-sleeve dresses and booties this season.  It is such an easy and comfy combo, but always leaves me feeling polished and put together.  Plus, it’s still been fairly warm here in the SLC, so it’s been a good way to break in some of my favorite Fall pieces while still dressing appropriately for the weather!DSC_2366DSC_2341DSC_2355 DSC_2360 DSC_2347 DSC_2340 DSC_2348 DSC_2387

Dress: Nordstrom (LOVE! and it’s only $54) |  Sunnies: Karen Walker (you can try them for FREE for one month-details below!) | Bag: Tory Burch | Booties: Carlos Santana(sold out), extremely similar

I am sure by now you guys have heard me talk about Ditto.  But if you haven’t, it’s a really cool new concept where you can rent designer sunglasses for just $24/month.  It is a FANTASTIC way to test out designer sunglasses to see if they are really worth the price tag, or a great way to rotate through a bunch of sunnies you have been wanting to try.  If you are interested in taking the program for a test run, you can try your first month FREE on me!  Just enter code: ALLDOLLEDUP at checkout!

Happy Friday, sweet friends!
