So, I almost didn’t have any blog photos to share with you guys this week. For once, I was actually ahead of the game and shot some pics over the weekend, but when I went to import them into Lightroom, I received a dreaded error that my SD card was corrupted. I tried everything to retrieve the photos, but no luck. So thank goodness for my tech savvy hubby who was able to save the day for me! And so, in today’s outfit, it should be noted that the message on my new favorite graphic tee is not just dedicated to my love for the combination of neon yellow, and blue, but also, specifically to him. Je t’aime (I love you)…

The Blues

I know that for most, blue is a favorite or go-to color. But for me, it’s never been a super common hue in my wardrobe (outside of my denim). That is until this season. Down On the Farm

Our weather has been a little crazy the past few days (nice one minute, then raining, or snowing the next!), so between that, and our busy schedules, it’s been a little hard to coordinate for blog photos this week. So yesterday after work, J and I decided to meet at a beautiful historic farm pretty close to our house. And even though it was freezing cold while we were shooting, I loved the location and can’t wait to shoot more photos there-even if we did get chased down by some whopping big snow geese!

And do you know what else I am loving? The simplicity of today’s outfit. Black and white is all the rage this season, and I love it paired back to simple chambray, nude pumps, and a bold lip. Another one of those looks that is so easy to put together, but makes you looked you really put some effort in!

Sea Stripes

I love stripes-any time of the year and for any occasion. And I especially love this JCrew striped mini. I love the vibrant colors mixed with a splash of gold. It feels festive and fun, while still being super casual (if you want it to be). I am even loving mixing metals and wearing both silver and gold with this particular piece. And seriously, how gorgeous is the balcony off our master suite at the Sea House? The home where we are spending our time in SJDS is beyond gorgeous in every way. I’m in love…

Vacation Style

Hola!! This morning I am writing this post to you guys from San Juan Del Sur, Nicaragua. If you checked out any of last week’s posts, or follow me on Instagram (alldolledupblog), then you know Justin and I are on vacation. And what a glorious vacation it has been! This is our 2nd time in SJDS and we are absolutely in love. Beautiful town, wonderful people, and an incredibly laid back lifestyle which has made it pretty easy for us to just kick back and relax. The biggest question of the day tends to be whether to go to the beach (surfing for J), or hang by the pool at our house.

We didn’t bring our DSLR with us, so J snapped these photos with his phone out on our patio while we were enjoying our favorite time of the day here…the sunset. Even Jack (our guard dog), loves to sit and watch the sunset with us and insisted in being in some of the photos with me. 🙂 Maxi skirts, minimal jewelry, and bright tanks have pretty much been my go-to uniform since we’ve been here (outside of bathing suits). And I am loving the super high slit of this maxi. Pretty sure it’s my favorite thing that I packed-not to mention that it cost less than $20!!! Tough to beat that!
