Winter Pastels

I love that it’s perfectly acceptable to wear pastels any time of the year now.  So when I saw this pale pink sweater at JCrew recently, I was immediately drawn to it.  Not only do I love the color, but it’s a nice relaxed fit which is little bit on the longer side, though not quite tunic length-which is a favorite silhouette of mine.  I know that this will be a piece that I can style a multitude of different ways this season.  And if you aren’t into pink (or pastels in the winter for that matter!), don’t worry, it comes in a ton of other colors too!DSC_1019 DSC_1021 DSC_1062 DSC_1076 DSC_1017 DSC_1058 DSC_1065 DSC_1084 DSC_1035 DSC_1064 DSC_1079

Sweater: JCrew (on sale!) | Skinnies: AG | Beanie: Free People (old), LOVE this and this (both on sale!) | Mittens: Target (on sale!) | Sunnies: Ray-ban | Mug: Starbucks | Bag: Tory Burch (this exact style is sold out), LOVE this similar pink Tory bag | Booties: INC (LOVE these-so comfy and they’re on sale!)

Hope you all had a great Cyber Monday and were able to score some amazing deals!

Boho

Well hi there, friends!  I guess I took a little hiatus from the blog!  I have been so busy with traveling for work, celebrating my birthday in wine country, and blogging over at SLMag, that I’ve fallen a little behind!  But I’m back and hope you are all having a fantastic week!

Today I want to share with you the dress that I wore on my birthday to ride bikes with my sweet hubby through Sonoma for a little wine tasting and fun (if you follow me on Insta @alldolledupblog, then you already got a chance to see it!).  I am very short (5’3″), so don’t typically tend to go for the flowy, boho look since a lot of the tops and dresses tend to swallow me up and not look so flattering.  But I have been seeing this dress everywhere lately, and really wanted to try it on.  And surprisingly, I loved it.  In fact, it turned out to be the perfect thing to wear for riding a bike, while still looking somewhat put together at the vineyards!

Dress: Free People (on sale!) | Necklace: Jeweliq (sold out) LOVE this one | Ring: Kendra Scott | Cuff: Macy’s | Sunnies: Karen Walker | Bag: Marc Jacobs (my color is sold out, but I am loving this one and it’s on sale for under $200!) | Wedges: Jessica Simpson (on sale and super comfy!)

Also, you will have to forgive the quality of these photos.  The fog and wind both rolled in so fast, that this was all we were able to snap before the lighting and weather made it too impossible to shoot.  I have some more fun photos that I will be sharing later this week with a complete round up of our amazing trip!  So stay tuned!!!!

Hope you are all having a great week!

Juxtaposition

I didn’t think about it when I put this outfit together, but when I was editing these photos, I noticed the juxtaposition that I created-floral shoes and a beanie paired together in the same look! Ha! But for some reason, I think it works.  Maybe it’s the part of me that’s longing for warmer weather, or maybe it’s the color combo of mint and pale pink that I can’t seem to stop wearing lately.  But either way, I want to know, would you pair your spring items with your winter items this time of year?

And don’t forget, today is the LAST day to enter the giveaway with Moose and Nigel.  The necklace I am wearing in this post is yet another one of Megan’s beautiful creations!  Details below…

Sorry I’m Not Sorry

I find it to be kind of amusing when people use the term “Sorry I’m not sorry”.  And I have to say, that is exactly how I feel every time I slip on these neon heels.  I mean, let’s be honest, I am pretty much obsessed with them.  They are so super comfy, go with just about everything, and bring such a fun element to any outfit. And even though they are from last summer, I still can’t seem to get enough.  So I am just going to have to put it out there-I’m sorry I’m not sorry that you are (once again this season) going to be seeing a lot of these pumps on the blog…

Radiant Orchid

I have to admit, I usually get pretty excited every year when Pantone announces their “official” color of the year.  But last year I was so thrilled when they announced that the “it” color of 2013 was Emerald Green, that I didn’t hold out much hope for 2014-that is until they announced that their official color of the year was Radiant Orchid (insert swoon here).  Now if there is one color that could top Emerald Green in my book, this is most definitely it.  So what better way to kick off my 2014 blog posts than with an ode to Radiant Orchid, Pantone’s official color of 2014…

Happy Monday!  And thanks for stopping by!

P.S.  How amazingly gorgeous is Utah?  So blessed to live in this beautiful state!
