Not all outfits are created equal. There are always some that I love more than others, and this is definitely one of those. Perhaps it’s because this dress reminds me of something that I wore when I auditioned for collegiate music programs back in the day, or perhaps it’s because it incorporates so many of my favorite things (surplus vest, yellow pumps, Panama hat, dress with pockets, etc.) into one look. Whatever the reason, this is just one of those outfits that really feels like “me”, and one I can’t wait to wear again!

Happy LEAP DAY, my loves! Contrary to how it might appear on the blog, I love to re-wear and re-style things in my wardrobe. In fact, if you’ve been following me for any length of time, then you know I am a big fan of adding pieces to your closet that can be styled multiple ways. And this dress is a great example. Today I’m styling it with over-the-knee boots, and my favorite blush pink vest. But you can see how I styled it last fall, with gray booties and a Panama hat. Same dress, totally different looks. Now how fun is that? I love a good floral dress-especially if it’s long-sleeved! And Lulu’s is always a favorite place to find affordable dresses for any occasion. So when I was on the hunt for the perfect Easter dress, their website was the first place I looked! And while I am not sure if this is what I will wear to celebrate Easter this weekend, I do know that it is a piece that is going to get a lot of wear in my closet this Spring!
