This time of the year makes me feel so conflicted inside. Part of me is so ready for pumpkin everything, blanket scarves, booties, and cozy layers. But the other half hates to see the days get shorter, the temps get cooler, and to have to put away all of my favorite summer dresses and sandals. So this week, I am embracing the last few days of summer and wearing all summer everything. Like this dress. Not only is it super cute, but seriously, how perfect is it for Labor Day weekend?

Did you guys know that this dress can be worn multiple ways? It can be worn strapless, off-the-shoulder (see my #sundaynightstyle post over on Insta!), and of course, one shoulder, like I’ve styled it in this post. How cool is that?

Fall Vibes

While I hate to see summer go, I do love me some Fall fashion! And even though it’s still pretty hot here in Salt Lake, I am already starting to gravitate towards Fall color combinations, like today’s rust, leopard, and black look. And if you don’t have this top in your life yet (it also comes in a dress version!), then you need it ASAP. It comes in a bunch of colors and is less than $30. It’s seriously the best.

One of my favorite summer outfits is a casual long sleeve shirt paired with a pair of destroyed denim shorts. But since it’s such a basic look, it’s not one I feature on the blog very often. However, I love this shirt so much that I just had to share with you guys! I’m having a hard time believing that it’s already August. And I can’t help but find myself starting to think about Fall, and purchasing transitional and Fall specific pieces.

Just A Little Bit

I was a little nervous about this top when it first arrived in the mail. Not because I don’t love it, because, man, do I ever. But because it’s a little more on the cropped side than I’m used to, and I wasn’t quite sure how to style it. So after trying it on with a lot of different things, I decided it looked the best with high-waisted skirts. And while this is a look that is just a little bit “sexier” than I would typically gravitate towards, it’s still one that’s chic, and would be perfect for a date night or girl’s night out. And it’s definitely an outfit that is really fun to try.
