I travel a lot both personally and professionally, so am always on the hunt for comfy layering pieces to keep me cozy to and fro. So when ToAdorn (one of my very favorite daily deal sites) gifted me this darling cardigan from Tara Lynn’s Boutique, I knew it was going to be a staple piece in my wardrobe. And it most definitely is. It’s just one of those easy pieces that can be tossed on over just about anything, can be easily tucked into your purse or carry on for travel, and my very favorite part (besides the stripes, obviously)? The cute suede elbow patches!

Do you guys remember L’eggs when they were sold in the iconic egg packaging? I know I sure do. And because I always thought of them as an ’80’s staple, I was surprised (and excited!) when they contacted me and asked me to be a part of their 40th birthday celebration and re-launch of their limited edition egg packaging. Now to be totally honest, I have always been on the fence when it comes to pantyhose and tights, and always have been. But with the popularity of tights and pantyhose over the last year, I figured why not give them a try. And I have to say-I am SO happy that I did. Not only are L’eggs totally affordable (and easy to find-check your local drug store!), but they are super comfy with just the right amount of control around the tummy and thighs. And with all of these in-between temperatures as we transition into warmer weather, they are the perfect accessory if you are anxious to start wearing all of your spring/summer dresses and skirts (like I am!).

In today’s post, I am wearing the sun-tan shade which gave my winter white legs just the right hint of color and smoothed out all of the unevenness caused by those long winter months of nothing but pants. In fact, when we shot these photos, my hubby didn’t even realize that I was wearing pantyhose. BUT he did tell me that my legs looked great! Whether you call it a denim jacket or a jean jacket, if you don’t own one, then you should! Denim jackets are a key item for Spring, and a great investment piece that will last you for seasons to come. And while they are a great layering piece while we wait for the temps to warm up, they are also really cute. In fact, my favorite way of styling them as of late is back to flirty dresses and skirts-allowing me to get into my summer wardrobe a little earlier than usual. So I have a little secret. Remember yesterday’s post and the super cute nude cami I was wearing underneath my red blazer? Well guess what? The purple cami in today’s post is the exact. same. shirt-just reversed! I can’t even tell you how thrilled I was when I stumbled on this amazing find at Express a few weeks ago. Not only is the styling of this particular cami perfect for a multitude of outfits, but every cami is essentially two shirts in one. Two for the price of one?? Rad Plaid

I am a pretty tried and true JCrew and Gap girl when it comes to my beloved button downs. And I rarely (if ever) venture outside of this cozy comfort zone. However, since I didn’t have any luck with either store on my hunt for a light gray plaid shirt this spring, I was forced to venture out. And I have to say, I am glad that I did because I am absolutely LOVING the fit and style of this Ralph Lauren Denim and Supply top. It is slightly longer in the back, the fabric is light and airy, and the fit is fantastic. In fact, it’s been such a popular shirt at Macy’s, it’s been selected as a customer favorite. And you know what that means? More prints and patterns to come! I know I’ll be on the lookout to add some additional versions of this fantastic shirt to my closet!
